well i find this whole haiku thing fun but if don't win I'm fine with that and if I do when thats cool to. As long as I had fun doing it. Don't see why people are taking a contest ment for fun, so seriously.

After all, the author of the "bubbling" haiku is going to have a beta key in a few hours, but no such luck for the poor sap who had his entry disqualified back on day two or whenever.
That's the point of this whole discussion, if this guy doesn't get disqualified, then why did the other guy did?
And if this guy wins even tho his haiku wasn't even matching the rules, does that mean I can submit the follwing: "I love orcs / I don't like gnomes / I love trolls"
Which is 3/4/3, but that doesn't matter, right?

"Bubbling" can be pronounced with three syllables, "gnomes" cannot. Stop being facetious, it's not cute. Besides, you can easily change it to "I do not like gnomes". It's still a terrible haiku though.

Again, Pronunciation is not the same as syllables, learn to read, peasant:
The rule appears to be, not all vowels represent a syllable, but all syllables must be represented by a vowel.
There, and here are the rules of counting syllables in a word:
1. Count the vowels in the word.
2. Subtract any silent vowels, (like the silent e at the end of a word, or the second vowel when two vowels are together in a syllabl.e)
3. Subtract one vowel from every diphthong (diphthongs only count as one vowel sound.)
4. The number of vowels sounds left is the same as the number of syllables.
Bub-bling
I see 2 vowels, syllables need to be represented by a vowel, where is this third mystery vowel?
