1.83g * several hundred Badges of Justice from farming for mounts = awwww yeah.
\o/
I do believe this is Blizzard's way of making up making us farm a lot of gold for epic flying and Inflation of currency.
Triumph and Frost are an equal conversion to Justice Points? Seems like it'd be worth it to farm as many Triumph as possible pre-patch (since there's no daily or weekly cap) so that you can buy all the T10 you missed out on once the patch goes live.
I wonder, is Blizzard still making two different point types for PvE and PvP? Or are only one for each?
If the Triumph and Frost Badges are worth 2.75 'Justice points' each, then you'd have to have a stockpile of 1455 badges to hit the cap. I find it unlikely that many people will be hitting the cap.
So would the conversion for T10 work the same or how much will those items cost now? If Triumph and Frost are going into the same bucket, should be easier to get those items now.

It seems this conversion isn't going to be as friendly as I was expecting. One might make the assumption that if 1 Emblem of Frost = 2.75JP, then something like the t10 gloves might cost (60*2.75) 137.5JP, rounded up or down at Blizz's discretion. According to my friend on the PTR though, those same gloves will cost 694JP, or what is now 252.36 badges. Brutal. I was expecting Blizz to use this as an easy way to hand out frost emblem gear to everyone who has the time to grind the heroics for them for leveling gear going into Cataclysm, similar to how the honor point changes in patch 2.0 allowed anyone with the time to grind BGs to get all the High Warlord/Grand Marshal gear they wanted. Granted, with the ICC buff as it is now anyone can almost zerg the majority of ICC10 to get enough ilvl251 gear, which will most likely be replaced with quest greens by the time you hit 83 anyway.I'm not too worried about getting EoF gear to prepare for Cata, though. I'm more interested in the potential of grinding heroics now for JP to use for 85 epics (likely to be ilvl359). The hardcap of 4000JP would take 1454.54 badges to reach at this conversion rate, a great deal of grinding but reachable for someone determined or already close to that mark. 85 JP gear isn't on the beta yet, but I am guessing the cost per item will be much more inflated than the EoF gear.Keep in mind that the conversion rate and the JP costs of items can always change before going live.
Screw the gear, I'm gonna downgrade everything to Conquests before the conversion goes through.Ka-ching!
Even the exchange rates could change according to the disclaimer on the blue post. I'm sure there's plenty of work still to do. When it goes live we'll all know the deal.
Did the math for Stone Keeper's Shards honor conversion to Wintergrasp Commendation honor awarded conversion and they're both the same.Do or don't turn them in, you'll end up with the same amount of new honor....But wait, what are the pricings of the frost/triumph gear when converted to JP? And what of the cost of C/V/H gear?
What I want to know is: How much a Tier10 will cost and how much point a ICC10 and ICC25 boss gives.
As far as PVP stuff is concerned and on the basis that :1 Wintergrasp Commendation = 9 Wintergrasp Mark of Honor = 30 Stone Keeper's Shard = 2000 old Honorit seems better to keep the Marks of Honor as they have a much higher conversion rate (I hope this won't get changed ...) :2000 old Honor = 48 Honor points30 Stone Keeper's Shard = 48 Honor points9 Wintergrasp Mark of Honor = 171.72 Honor pointsCan't wait for Cataclysm ...
