Criteria:
Defeat Melidrussa after defeating 40 of her chamber's Infused Whelps in Ruby Life Pools on Mythic difficulty.

Strategy:
As simple as it sounds, you can choose to spawn whelps on your own, which is highly recommended. Each egg pool has ten eggs, so manually spawn four groups, eliminate the whelps, and you're done! Defeat the boss as normal.

Instructions for Dragon Kill Points: You have to defeat Melidrussa after defeating 40 of her whelps. There are four sets of dragon eggs in corners of the room, running over them will spawn the whelps and you have to kill 40 of them. Ideally you spawn them group by group to avoid excessive damage, or you can wait for the boss to spawn its own whelps but this may take a while to wait for all 40 to spawn. If your group can handle it, have everyone run over the eggs, spawn the whelps, nuke them, and when the achievement tracker addon marks that you have killed 40, nuke the boss.

Don't do what we did and wait for the boss to summon whelps. The eggs are all in the pools in the room, and you can spawn whelps by stepping on eggs. Keep the achievement tracked and it'll turn white when you've killed your 40, then kill the boss.

I was able to solo this as a 478 BM Hunter with some practice.
Importantly, there is 2 waves of drakes during the fight around 2/3 and 1/3 of boss HP.
Initially, I thought those 2 waves + popping 2 nests of eggs would yield 40 drakes (10 drakes per nest).
However, it took a third nests with the 2 waves so I'm guessing there isn't 10 drakes per wave.

Pet keeps aggro on boss and was relatively easy to heal.
For the nests, I used a combination of Aspect of the Turtle + Aspect of the Cheetah to pop the eggs.
After the 10 eggs were popped, I used Call of the Wild talented with Bloody Frenzy.
That way, I wasn't getting ganked by drakes and killed by Cold Claws.

For the 2 waves that are part of the fight, it's easier.
Be in the middle and pop Binding Shot.
That way, drakes will be stunned and your pet can AoE them to pick aggro.

While waiting for CDs to refresh, use your defensives and heal your pet.
Chillstorm is the biggest problem damage wise.
Be sure to use Disengage as soon as it drops to minimize damage intake.
