There is nice way to use Garrison and sell just Sumptous fur and Sorcerous earth. I think its more profitable with those dempers on Hexweave bags on the AH.
I plan to focus on inscription as glyphs are evergeen and with regular relisting they sell well. The idea for steelbound harness is great and I will try to buy a few if I find good deals.
Wow, this was sure illuminating! I think ehat I liked most is how to preper for the next xpac, and what to do as a newbie goblin!
As a Druid as well as an Alt-Junkie, I am very much looking forward to the Big Bag changes! This way, I can carry all gear for all specs without being mad I am having to carry all gear for all specs :)Also, I think even Legion bags will still be a decent seller as people start in on the new races so I am looking forward to that as well.In summary - Good Luck Everyone on making a tidy profit!
I don't even use the RAF system; so, in essence, really not bothered by the XP being reduced. Other than that, I'll have to do a little more reading.. all these stat squishes are kinda confusing for me.
Once I read on woweconomy forum a post from quite a sucesfull goblin, who said, that he always try to invest gold up to 20k which he saves if he need something. Somehow that change my view on goldmaking and from that point I started doing the same and it was the best thing I could do! This week I broke my record od 1.5m gold in cash! Now I spent it on tokens before they annouce BFA but left some to invest! :)
I'm glad enchanting receives a buff. I missed weapons enchantments a lot in Legion (To hell with those silly mighty magical supreme mega and ugly weapons!).
Can't wait to see how the professions squill squish impacts the economy. This next expansion will try to max my professions asap, I always focus on content first, will try different this time.Great article as always!
The "Lazy Goldmaker" speaks to me. I've been playing since right after BC dropped and have never focused on making gold... I'm a big fan of gold. I like it, I use it, I have a little. I keep it in a jar on top of my refrigerator. I'd like to put more in that jar. But I'm something of a planner, so until I have a plan I kind of just... wait. Putting together a plan feels like the hard part, and this blurb seems like a good place to start!
Thanks again for these writeups - they are very helpful! I definitely echo the Vial of Sands opportunity. It was a tough grind to get, but I can usually sell 1-2/month. Pays for the monthly subscription! Keep up the great work.
I find professions more and more boring with each expansiond. By the time I can craft something useful, I already have better gear from dungeons or raids. But 32 slot bags would by amazing, I'm still out of free space.
It's exciting to see the profession stat squish but I am not sure if it's going to be a good or bad thing quite yet. I would love to see some awesome engineering goggles like in the BC / WLK days. My toons will be waiting awhile for the 8 extra bag slots as I probably won't find the initial price to be worth it.
With regards to professions, I am hoping that they make it some so recipes are hard to get to allow a return to the time where not everyone could craft everything. Barring that, I am hopeful that inscription will return to a better place with the consumable rep items (maybe they will have a limited duration so people have to buy stacks of them).
I just want some love for Jewelcrafting i have hope that Jewel will get a new mount or at least a new pet
so they're gonna make it so i can't gate a certain material anymore? i used to flip illusion dust for anyone trying to get past the 300's, it's easy to come by now cause of the last patch, but now with these leveling changes, i guess gating is completely dead. ah well. can't complain. but if i'm reading a reddit thread correctly on the explanation, i think you can level each "xpac" concurrently rather than linearly. since i suck at predicting anything, i have no idea if this will increase it's value or decrease it. :p
Interesting points about the analysis paralysis - something I often find myself facing. Will have to get more stuck into things to actually start making some gold :P
I'm making a lot of money now selling both sets of bags, still going to the garrison daily. Good to know there are going to be new bags, opens up a whole new set of buyers, especially at launch. That will line my pockets especially well.
Which professions are you focusing on and why?I think that I will focus my gold production efforts on cooking. It has been a reliable strategy to sell food on Tuesday afternoon as prices tend to increase before the beginning of the raid week. Regarding primary professions, I have always been JC (since BC) but I've been considering engineering as it always has nice perks. Do you think that it would be a mistake to drop JC?
