Reward from 2000 pet battle wins. Can be either trainer wins, PvP battle wins (as long as they are in draenor) or wild pet battle wins.

Item can be placed in one of 4 spots in your garrison. It looks fantastic on the beta so hopefully will be just as great on the live realms.

This seems currently bugged.
Either you don't get credit from pet battle wins on Draenor at all, either only the tracking is bugged.

Funnily, Draenic Pet Battler, which is basically the same achievement for 500 wins is not bugged at all.

Can anyone else confirm they have the same issue ?

Anyone have any suggestion on how to quickly complete this achievement? I'm not much of a pet battler but this seems like a relatively simple monument to get.

Mine tracker is either bugged or doesn't track pvp battles. Draenic Pet Battler works fine.
EDIT: I did some research and it seems it just doesn't count battles in garrison (neither pvp nor daily quest).

A good place to grind is near the neutral flight master at Bloodmaul Slag Mines in Frostfire Ridge, coords about 54, 20.

There is a huge amount of wild pets close together so you'll rarely have to go looking for the next one, you'll be getting mostly beast battle stones (handy!), you can swap in a level 1 carry pet when fighting roaches with relatively low risk, you can use the xp from the battles to help level an alt and you'll quickly be able to collect level 23 rare versions of the pets you fight (Icespine Hatchling, Rat, Frostfur Rat, Twilight Wasp, Fire-proof Roach).

I use a carry pet, Xu-Fu Cub of Xuen and an Emerald Proto Whelp.

Xu-Fu tears up the beasts and critters with spirit claw spam and healing with feed, ideally used on a critter.

Emerald Proto Whelp two shots the annoying wasps with emerald bite and can tank forever with emerald presence and emerald dream in case you find a rare that's being tricky to capture.

Might want to read a book or watch something in another window while you're grinding this one out!

Remember that at-level pet battles give you XP as well as pet XP. As such, you may want to make your battles with a non-max-level character to soak up some of the XP that they give. Hey, if you're going to be doing them anyway, you may as well use the chance to get yourself some points.

I have two characters (and a half, if you count my main who did a couple hundred as well) who leveled from 91 to 100 with pet battles alone, and I expect to be able to get a third there as well, at least.

I'd like to know if I have to get this achievement on ALL chars or just one, and then have access to it on all chars.

If I only need to do it once, to get the achievement, how does it work on several chars? Do I have to do it with only 1 char making 2000 pet battles, or can I do it on several chars?

The best place so far i find, is near Horde garrison.around 50,19 / 57.45 spot. Just outside the garrison.

For horde players is really great because you are just beside your garrison, and free heal and rez for yours battle pets (but you'll no need heal for this trick)

The only fight you will get are against Icespine Hatchling "beast" + critter / aerial.

I wondering what will be the best battle pet for those fights, and i found one battle pet who can handle all the fight and finish with full life.

No swap pet, no need to use heal/rez, and only needed 1 battle pet !

Let's introduce the Hatchling slayer, the critter nemesis, the aerial nightmare !

/Drum Roll : Feline Familiar Feline Familiar

What you need is this pet at lvl 25 Rare blue, and you need the following abilities.

1. Onyx Bite
2. Stoneskin
3. Devour

Start the battle by Stoneskin (critter will do nothing against you now), and just spam Onyx bite (very efficient against aerial btw), when the enemy is almsot dead, just use Devour (regain life).

And that's it, you have slay all the enemy team with only 1 battle pet in less 1min, and your Feline Familiar should be full life at the end of the fight, just continue your farm around the spot, by the time you clean all the Hatchling the 1st spot should be repop.

Even if this trick made the fight very quick, this is still very very very VERYYYYY boring, make something else beside or your brain will melt, like listening music or just chill with firend on Teamspcik / mumble..

As of 6.1 this achievement now includes the pet battles located in your garrison. Hurrah!

*Edit*: It appears that as an offset to letting it count they also reduced the XP from the battles. I only got 68xp on a level 22 pet yesterday from a group that normally would have provided 2k+.

Best fight to farm this is by far Beakinator by using a Nexus Whelpling. Start with Arcane Storm and finish with Mana Surge. Each fight takes 30-40sec.

Why?

1) The achievement Draenor Safary requires you to catch only 25 different pets.. so if you need all breeds (lets be generous) that adds to 75 pets...+ miss and tries around 300 battles

2) the cap of maximum allowed pets is 1000.. do I need all breeds? no..

3) Pet battling to lvl is to slow I can level an alt 90-100 in 9 hr.

1+2 = 25 pets to catch ... 2000-25=1975 useless pet battles to do

So I'm asking what is the point to this? aint an achievement that requires skills but just to be really really "fixed" on pet battles, most likely you'll get bored to death after 150 battles. Aint fun anymore.. even at 30 sec a fight.

62.33, 32.25 there's an Icespine Hatchling that has been respawning instantly or in 5 seconds. Great spot to farm for this, don't even have to move. If you start with a Darkmoon Zeppelin or other pet with a two attack block you can switch in a low pet and back to your powerhouse without trouble. Your 3rd pet can be any suggested here. Anyone that can confirm the insta respawn? It should be the one pet on the south side of the boulder.

It took me almost the entire expantion of Mists of Pandaria to get 2000 pet battles out, and i like to do pet battles. I have more max level pets that i would ever need and already caught all Draenor pets on rare quality, and the counter is on a whopping 165 draenor battles so far.

Why the hell do they nerf every and all things associated with pets, but leave this one out? I get it needs to be a big achievement to get awarded a statue, but a thousand would be pretty enormous too..

If you want to go for this achievement, do it on the char you want the statue on,the battle counter is character specific.

Just noticed this and it throws hours of work down the drain..

Power-level Battle Pets

Level an Alt

Go to the coast of Shadowmoon Valley to an area called Moonlit Shore 66,30 (closest FP is at Elodor). Once you're there, you can begin to farm Moonshell Crab. There are plenty along the beach and the respawn is fairly quick.

The area has very few hostile NPCs and it is a safe place to park a low level toon. Use a 2 person mount, Warlock Summoning Stone, or Defender Illona to get there if you are below lvl 90. I have summoned alts as low as lvl 1 to the area. The coordinate provided above is the edge of the safe zone for lowbies. You can farm the crabs from this point along the shoreline until you reach the cliffs. Just follow the tents :D

Edit for Clarification:
Each fight takes 2 to 3 minutes to complete and you will receive character XP similar to a quest turn in for the character's level. It will take about 13 battles to advance your pet from level 1 to level 22 if you are using Safari Hat, Pet Treat and Lesser Pet Treat. At that point the fastest leveling will come from using stones; swap to another low level pet to maximize the Treat Buffs

Secondary Pets you will commonly face are Flying, Beasts, or add'l Aquatics: Mossbite Skitterer, Forest Spiderling, Spider, Waterfly, Royal Moth, and Zangar Crawler.

Suggested Pets

Strong against Aquatic w/healing -- feel free to use any breed with preference to P/P or P/S where available

Quintessence of Light or The Beakinator are the best fights for this

Nether Faerie Dragon absolutely owns these fight. One I used was P/P breed and rare. The fight rotation is the same for both and goes as follows:

Moonfire
Arcane Blast
Life Exchange - Even if your dragon dies to the other pet's Heat Up it will come back to life at full hp
Spam Arcane Blast

Generally takes me 30-40 seconds per fight. You even have a heal right next to you for Quintessence of Light. You shouldn't need to heal for The Beakinator.

For those of you leveling alts along with your battle pets while grinding out this achievement - I just want to remind you to use your heirlooms for the extra xp.

Get yourself at least a full set of cloth heirlooms upgraded 2/2 so you can use them on any character regardless of armor skills. (It's not like you'll be fighting anything if your just doing pet battles.) Using no heirlooms nets my characters about 10k xp per pet battle, with a full set of heirlooms gets me around 15k. Definitely worth it!

Draenor Pet Brawler and Legendary Pet Brawler can be done at the same time. This will save you a significant amount of time if you eventually plan to do both anyway.

If you have an alt with no menagerie, you can pick up the quest (A: Pets Versus Pests / H: Pets Versus Pests) where you will fight off 3 pets. These are incredibly easy and killing them counts towards completing this achievement.

However once you beat one of them, they will despawn, so you will need to abandon the quest and retake it, with flying inside the garrison this doesn't take too long to grind wins really fast on the cost of moving around a little.

As for pet line up:
Carrotus Maximus - Use a water strider/skimmer
Gorefu - Use a moth
Gnawface - Use a fox

While doing this achievement, best kill two birds with one stone. Or three rather.

First find a pet(such as the feline familiar tip) that can stay healthy and solo a trio.
Second, pop any pet with a decoy in the mix.
Third, your leveling pet.

Start with (say mechanical pandaren dragonling).
Hit decoy.
Switch to leveling pet.
Straight away switch to your "main hitter" and finish the fight.

It's two extra rounds to do, so adds a couple of seconds to each fight, but you'll be swimming in 25 pets in no time ;)

Also for the third bird; use a character that isn't max level and get the XP from the fights. Especially effective during the oet brawl weekend event and darkmoon faire. For example, with just the garrison potion buff you get 13k/fight so it's just a good 60 fights to grab a level from 96-97.

After trying some strategies for this achievement I think I found the quickest way to do it but it requires to have a character that has not yet unlocked the menagerie in your garrison.

So here it is.
After completing Unearthed Magic Horde side(talk to Serr'ah) or Unearthed Magic Alliance side(Lio the Lioness), you get the next quest: Pets Versus Pests (horde), Pets Versus Pests (alliance).

The strategy:
Step 1: take the quest
Step 2: kill the 3 pets in your garrion.
Step 3: abandon quest.
Step 4: REPEAT from step 1.

With this you complete 3 battles in less than 2 minutes (with my setup).

I recommend using the following team:
- Alpine Foxling S/S, Skills: Bite, Howl
- Aqua Strider S/S, Skills: Water jet, Pump
- Yellow Moth P/P, Skills: Alpha strike, Moth dust

And doing the following order to kill the pets:
1 - Gnawface: take Alpine Foxling. Use Howlf first, then hit with Bite 2 times.
2 - Carrotus: take Aqua Strider. Use Pump first. Then use Water jet. Use Pump. If he is not dead use Water jet again.
3 - Gorefu: take Yellow Moth. Use Moth dust first. Then use Alpha strike until he is dead.

I also recommend doing this on a druid for the instant fly morph.

Fastest way to farm this achievement:

1. You have Menagerie Level 3 in your Garrison
2. You have Level 25 Nexus Whelpling with Breed: #4 P/P (i.e. with 341 power)
3. Go to Menagerie Level 3 , and see if the flying pet The Beakinator is there for battle
4. Fight with your Level 25 Nexus Whelpling if the pet is there
5. Use Arcane Storm and then Mana Surge, solo easily
6. Each battle should be done in 35 seconds and can be repeat without the quest
7. Pets Battle in Menagerie Level 3 counts for this achievement
8. You can heal your pets easily as they the healing npc is in Menagerie Level 3

As others have said, if you have an alt without the menagerie, the quest Pets Versus Pests/Pets Versus Pests is quite fast, especially on a druid with flightform.

Users KallePHP and Khallane posted good teams to 1-pet each pet.

Here is my macro to drop the quest after you defeat all three:
(Alliance):

Using the addon Rematch to switch your first pet when you target each one is also good for speeding things up.

If you've acquired the Bag of Spiders from the Halloween event, you can fill your garrison with instantly respawning undead pets.

In the horde garrison, this means you'll be guaranteed a fight against a single undead pet, and two additional pets that are either critters or flying.

Very easy to farm with a critter / beast / magic pet and the mobs are weak enough that you can level pets from around lvl 20 against them.

I have an alternative strategy to beating up The Beakinator! It's beating up Quintessence of Light. :)

First and foremost it provides an alternative to waiting for The Beakinator, because you need to be on a grindy and patient day to do this. It's a 5 move kill like The Beakinator. Secondly it has a minor advantage: you'll have to heal Nether Faerie Dragon once every 2-3 battles instead of every battle. Explanations below:

I'd like to add a few things on top of Nagratz's wondrous strategy against The Beakinator. Using Nether Faerie Dragon 2/2/1 you can solo this guy: start with Moonfire, then use Arcane Blast, after that Moonfire to heal more, one more Arcane Blast and either Arcane Blast or Moonfire again as a finisher. A nice bonus of the strategy is that you'll have to heal your Nether Faerie Dragon once every 2 or 3 battles since it already finishes fights on high HP. That's a 5 move win! Farming the pets outside the Garrison with a Feline Familiar takes around 12 moves, not to mention a lot of switching animations etc. So, if you're like me, and nowhere close to getting the achievement, just clench your fists and teeth, gather a lot of patience, and start grinding this!

"Advanced" strategy: Since we use a Arcane Blast before Moonfire that allows us to heal and damage more and therefore allows us to finish the fight on relatively high HP, add the auto heal after the battle is won, and you can finish this battle at 90% health or so. This allows us to fight again without healing. You might ask "What's the big deal? I'll just go heal.", I'll answer that you might need to do this a couple hundred if not thousand times, and not healing a few hundred times actually saves a lot of time. Heat Up and Fire Quills both deal 148 damage per hit and 222 damage per crit we can adjust our strategy. First turn we'll Moonfire and take 148 damage, second turn it will hit us for 296 or 444 damage and we'll take another 148 from Heat Up. A crit on its part will add 74 more damage to this. So if your Nether Faerie Dragon has more than 740 hp (or 814 if you're a little paranoiac and take into account a crit as well) you can solo it, since after Life Exchange the fight becomes trivial. You can even try your luck with almost no HP considering you can start with Life Exchange but that messes the order of the things and you'll end up with very low HP.

PS: If it gets lucky with a few hits and leaves you with less than 148 HP and Heat Up is up, don't abandon the fight! Once you use Life Exchange you'll die and then you'll get resurrected with full HP. It's the only instance of I've seen something like this so I thought I'd mention it.

PPS: Every win will also award 0.5% of experience required for your next level so make sure you're doing this on an unleveled alt instead of a 110. After all you might be needing more than 1000 wins which would translate to 5 levels. It's something!

If you are after Draenor Pet Brawler and Eleanor is up, you can farm this.
My strat uses this team to kill her twice without healing and with only 9 mouse clicks (including the 2 to start the fights).

You need 2 x Zandalari Toenibblers (or anything with black claw and an undead damage ability). And a pet with stampede, swarm or similar. I used Infected Squirrel PB.
Put the squirrel in 3rd place.

Start with a toenibbler, Flank, Blackclaw. Bring in squirrel. Swarm. Win.
Start fight again. Repeat above. Win.
Heal pets. Repeat.
Lose the will to live after 50+ fights.............

In addition to Beakinator as suggested by duranox in this thread, Quintessence of Light is also a good option to get a lot of wins quickly.

Nether Faerie Dragon with Arcane Blast, Life Exchange and Moonfire will solo this most of the time:

Moonfire
Life Exchange
Arcane Blast x 4

It will fail if Quintessence crits more than once after Life Exchange (including from Heat Up) or if it gets off more than six quills but that rarely happens. If it does, just bring in another dragonkin or counter-flying pet and finish it off.

The ability of all account characters to contribute to this achievement was addressed earlier and is stated in the achievement info, but I'm still wondering about the monument. Once everyone has battled and contributed to reach 2000 pet battles in Draenor, who actually gets the Garrison monument? Does each character on the account get one of their own or is it awarded to the last character to complete the 2000 or what? Haven't been able to find this info anywhere. Does anyone know?
