The Hidden and Bloodcursed reefs were the hardest for me to find as a "Horde for Life" player. The Hidden Reef is north west of Axxarien off the coast a bit, while the Bloodcursed Reef is in the waters east of Wyrmscar island.

You can use this map to click off the places you've been.

Cartographer addon has a bug where Bloodcursed Isle won't come up as explored. Try turning it off and check if it's explored on the normal world map.

The Bloodcursed Reef and The Hidden Reef dont show on your map as undiscovered areas with fog over them. Keep that in mind when exploring this area. You dont want to miss those areas as a horde player or you will have to go back =/

The Hidden Reef was the only place on the two Islands I had not explored. I did all the quests from 1-20 for the rep a year ago. There are no quests, at least Dwarf quests, that go to the hidden reef.

Look for the sunken boats east of Wyrmscar Isle for Bloodcursed Reef. Approach them and you should discover it.

The Hidden Reef is in a sort of cove on the north western part of the map near a bunch of murlocs.

While not as well hidden as the Hidden/Bloodcursed Reefs, these two can indeed be easily missed. Talon Stand is the mountain top on Wyrmscar Island, and the Foul Pool can be found in the river just west of Axxarien.

Arguably the worst exploration Achievement to do.

There are 28 mini-zones to hit, the "explored" colour for the map is only slightly darker brown than the background making it hard to see, some of the zones are tiny, there are 2 islands to visit, and also 2 zones are in the sea, and give no indication you need to go there.

Definitely one to make you thankful for WoWHead :-)

For those of you with no coordinates and needing a more descriptive location on Tel'athion's Camp, it's in the river northeast of the Vector Coil. Thank goodness for the maploc function on Wowhead Looter. x_x

Edit: Also, the original poster has a nice little map of where to find things. Wish I'd seen that link the first time I was here. =\

As a Hordie Id run to Darkshore, take the boat to Exodar(theres signes before u get to the boats), then run from Exodar up to to Bloodmyst Isle :) But be nice to the guards ;)

The boat at the end of the pier takes u to the draenei starting area, the one on the right part of the pier takes you to the night elves starting area and the last one (lft) to Stormwind (flags you for pvp so be careful).

the way i got there (to bloodmyst) is that i went down the coast of westfall into stormwid harbor. then if u get right under that pole sticking out in front of the boat and drown urself... then u can safely get on the boat. repaeat at darkshore to get to azuremyst... might as well get the achivement there and then head to bloodmyst... its kinda time consuming but even low lvls can do it.

And thank you arkuda for the map... it helped me find tel'athion's camp and finish up the acheivements

I was angered to learn that, in Cataclysm, you can fly in any zone in the whole game except the Draenei/Blood Elf ones. Especially in Bloodmyst Isle, with the hidden reefs and such, it's probably the most annoying to explore.

The easiest way to do this achievement as HORDE now that Auberdine has been destroyed is to take the boat from Orgrimmar to STV than fly to Stormwind Harbor, then just look for the boat with the Auberdine Sentinels in front of it. I hovered above until I saw nobody and just flew right down but that's up to you. After getting to Teldrassil, you fly over to the other dock and wait for the boat to Azuremyst. At Azuremyst I just used an Elixir of Water Walking (which works while mounted as long as you don't take damage) and just ran around the side of Exodar.

Since no one else seemed to have the trouble I did, I will add my two bits. Veridian Point is in the northern part of Wyrmscar Island off the coast of the mainland to the northeast; this is not necessarily triggered by doing the quest on top of the mountain on Wyrmscar. Although I was doing the quest achievement for Bloodmyst, I also missed The Warp Piston (even though I did the quest there) and The Hidden Reef (where the Draenei water totem quest was but that has been removed). All of these are in the north and could be missed even if you do quests in the area. The Warp Piston is the actual building(?) near the voidwalkers, not necessarily the area they are in. The Hidden Reef is all the way to the northwest and past the murloc huts off the coast.

Okay, although these posts where helpful in exploring the Bloodmyst Isles, some of these places were still hard to find. Even though most of them you find by simply doing your quests (all of the quests, including the hidden ones) these two places you have to actually look for, the Hidden Reef and the Tal'athion Camp. Alright to find the Hidden Reef when you complete the quest Raxormaw, simply swim out until it says you've discovered it. Its right there off the Blacksilt Shore. To find Tal'athion Camp it is in-between the triangle of Vector Coil, Amber Web Pass and Vindicator's Rest. In fact it is directly across the river from Amber Web Pass and directly behind Vindicator's Rest. I hope this makes it easier for you to discover BloodMyst Isles than it was for me.

Quest depends on your race (human, elf,gnome...) and your chosen profession (warrior, hunter, rogue...) and if your alliance or horde. I have a hunter, warrior & rogue alliance and have found that quest differ in all areas between alot to just slightly. In Bloodmyst as a human rogue I am only able to find 55 of the 60 quest for my character. Was informed by other players that sometimes quest will start in other areas and complete in a different one entirely. I am hoping this is the case.

As Horde, I actually find it easier to find a means of water walking (elixir, Shaman spell, Path of Frost), then ride over to Teldrassil from the westernmost point of Darkshore. On a fast mount (i.e. from lvl 40 onwards), you pass the fatigue zone with about 25 seconds to spare. Of course, if you are lvl 60 and can fly, that makes it even easier.

Once in Teldrassil, the boat to draenei country stops at the westernmost dock.

Here's the fastest way to get there for Horde with flyer:

1. Fly to Whisperwind Grove in Felwood.
2. Fly to Lor'Danel in Darkshore and Fly along the beach along the fatigue edge and go to 39,12.
3. Fly directly to the west towards Teldrassil. I made it across the gap without my fatigue bar dropping below 60% and that was with a 280% flyer.
4. Bam!, you're there and can take the Alliance boat to Azuremyst Isle and run to Bloodmyst Isle. Enjoy.

This has to be the worst exploration of all the achivements, the reefs are the biggest pains, the hidden reef is off past the murloc's little base just swim out you'll see a sunken ship and will come across it as for bloodcursed, just swim around the isle

Thank you to whomever posted a map below of the 3 most difficult spots to find on this island. The hidden reef was indeed a pain to find - it is on the north side of the main island, directly out from the far left of the 3 murloc camps.

The Bloodmyst Isle is the worst exploration zone in the whole game (at least for me). Reasons for that:
-There are too many exploration points (28 points) for a small zone like this one. Even Azuremyst Isle (which is little bigger than Bloodmyst) has 17 points.
-Some of the exploration points are very small and hard to find like Tel'Athion's camp, The Hiddn Reef, The Bloodcursed Reef and etc. These points are not really necessary. Sometimes you've explored everything else and you have to travel from side to side, when you check their locations on internet. You lose time and it's very annoying.
-The color of the map (when you open the map menu) is brown-redish which can cause you problem to determine if there is an unexplored place or it is just part of the explored map.

I don't know why blizz decide to put so many points in this zone but it's really not necessery.

By far the worse 10-20 zone to explore. If you made a Draenei and are questing (which you should if you're looking to get the Tabard of the Hand), you won't discover all the zones while doing your questing, so if you want to be efficient with it you should try to discover the nearby zones as you do your quests.

^&*!ing Bloodcursed Reef isn't even close to Bloodcurse Isle, it's on the S-E shore of Wyrmscar Island and I still haven't found Tel'athion's Camp and The Hidden Reef

After a while of going through so many maps, searches, and videos that I thought would help me with this achievement I grew annoyed. Annoyed that there wasn't a super reliable source to get this done. I found a map that was very useful to me when doing this achievement. Check it out! Just found out as a newbie on here I can't post a link. I really would have loved to have this when I started this achievement. I hope putting it like this doesn't break the rules.
