Isn't that 2 silver just a placeholder? Seems kinda cheap for such a mount...

if this achievement is actually the unlocking of that mount, the price would be the time required to aquire all of the legendaries. Dark Pheonix isnt much of a 'reward' if after doing all of this, you have to pay 50k (or whatever high price people would deem needed) for it.

Just to clarify, Dark Phoenix is from Guild Glory of the Cataclysm Raider , not form 6 legendaries.

If its true from what i've heard you will not be able to get Sulfuras or Thunderfury in Cata so i don't expect many guilds to have this achievement, in addition for your legendary weapon to count for the achievement you have to be Exalted rep with your guild so you can't just invite random people with the weapons and expect to get the achievement :D from what i've heard anyway. And yes there is no Current reward for this.

All of these weapons are avaiable in Cataclysm. Why would a blue post about making this an exception and allowing previous owners to count towards the achievement if it was meant to be unobtainable once Cata hits? I do find it interesting no rewards are listed though.

My guild got the mainhand glaive a few weeks ago and Thori'dal last night. Just waiting on the offhand glaive and shadowmourne (ironic since it should be one we would have) to finish up the achievement! :)

After Cata release and Guild achievs existing (let's call em GA) I noticed some rather strange things. First and foremost, only reputations that have already been gained are staying and get counted for GAs. My guild has wielders of many many legendaries, like 3 TFs and like 4 SMs and 2-3VAs (healing hammer, yo o/). However none of them got counted or any achiev was granded from just owning them.

Something rather strange I found out today also is that my guild got to lvl 3 last night, 3 hours after the release. I was a happy doodle this morning and check my armory and guild achiev page. And strangely my guild is lvl 1, with achievements/notifications for lvl 2 and 3 and ofc the perks we removed as well even after this gnome enjoyed flying with 320% speed of mount -_-
Any1 has any other proof like this for GAs?

You do not need to acquire these post-cataclysm, or after you hit honoured guild rep. I had both Thunderfury and Sulfuras pre-Cataclysm, and when the guild reputation got to honoured, the guild got the achievements for Thunderfury, Sulfuras and We are Legendary.

We three maned + a level 60 Blackwing last night got alot of the elementium. Were gonna try MC tonite see if we can get thru the Core hounds (Ret Pally, Holy Pally, Rouge)

Hey guys, here a little guide how to obtain all of them in Cata:

Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros
Well, this one shouldn't be hard these days, every class that is capable of soloing in your guild should just farm MC solo until one of them gains the Eye of Sulfuras, and then everyone who farmed MC should give the Sulfuron Ingot they have to the blacksmith who is going to make the Sulfuron Hammer. The other maths should already be farmed or buyed of the AH. After that, enjoy your first legendary! (If your guild didn't have one already)

1 down, 5 to go.

Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker
Yep, this one hurts. Again, everyone who is capable of soloing MC should still do so, until 1 of them was lucky enough to find both of the Bindings (Drop off Baron Geddon and Garr). After that, a lot of people should help getting the mats for the Enchanted Elementium Bar, as you need 10 of them, the more people who help here, the better. After that, just bring 1 or 2 people to fight Thunderaan (I'm not sure if this guy i soloable, guess so, but just in case) and this shiny sword is yours!

2 down, 4 to go.

Shadowmourne
Ah, now it's starting to get better. First of all, get some money rollin to get the 25 primordial saronite. This isn't as expensive as it used to be, and you can also use justice points to get them. Again, the more people who help here the faster it goes. The other parts of the first quest is just about killing Festergut and Rotface on 25-player ICC wich shouldn't be much of a problem at lvl 85. Just don't try to solo it. Oh, and you should get Light's Vengeance, wich is basically just go into some cavern in Dragonblight, kill some ghouls and a elite, and loot the hammer. After you turn in this quest, you should go into ICC and kill... 50 scourge. Yes, 50. It was 1000 before Cata but they nerfed it. Hurray. Should be easy. After this, you need it to get infused by Professor Putricide (By eating his slimes as the abomination), Queen Latha'nel (By being the Blood Mirror (stand near main tank)) and Sindragosa (Eat 4 frost breaths without dying and kill her). Beware, this are 3 different quests, so dont do them at once. Lastly, you should obtain 50 Shadowfrost Shard, wich means kill bosses. Takes some time but after that you have a very nice axe! Most text here but one of the easiest once to obtain due to almost guaranteed drops.

Val'anyr, Hammer of Ancient Kings
Ah, Val'anyr. Another pretty easy one at level 85. You first should get 30 Fragment of Val'anyr, wich has a chance to drop from nearly every boss in Ulduar in 25 player mode, wich means farm, farm, farm(Yogg-Saron has a 100% though). When u have 30 u can smelt them together to form Shattered Fragments of Val'anyr, wich starts a quest wich leads you to Archivum Console in Ulduar. After that, you obtain a quest to throw the fragments in the mouth of Yogg-Saron when he casts Deafening Roar, while at least 1 keeper isnt assisting you (Kind of a semi-hardmode, think Sartharion 1D). Don't worry, if you fail, you can throw the item again, it isn't destroyed in the progress, it only has a 20-second cooldown. After this, kill Yogg-Saron and loot the quest item, return to the Console and there you have a shiny mace!

4 down, 2 to go.

Thori'dal, the Stars' Fury
Now it's starting to get annoying. This shiny bow drops from Kil'Jaeden in Sunwell Plateau, at a drop rate of ~5%. Just farming. Now, DONT try to solo this one. You will die pretty horribly. 3 man should be possible, but takes just as few as you feel comfortable with. I'll take 5 or something. This is just farming, so, Good Luck! Oh, and don't forget to take someone with you who can actually EQUIP the bow. :P

5 down, 1 to go.

Warglaive of Azzinoth & Warglaive of Azzinoth
Ah, best for last. Some people say. The Twin Blades of Azzinoth. Okay, first of all, the off-hand doesn't have a higher droprate than the main-hand. They both drop at a rate of ~4% of Illidan Stormrage, the last boss of Black Temple. Again, take somewere between 3 and 10 people, just as few as you feel comfortable with. This is basically just farming, again. As of patch 4.0.3 (or 4.0.1 ?) Death Knights can obtain these awesome one-handed swords too, so take a DK, Rogue or Warrior with you.

After this, your guild has The Ultimate Collection!

Hey just letting you all know that as long as the person who have the legendary in their inventory is honored with the guild the guild achievement count, you DO NOT need to equip it.
I got my hands on Sulfuras and the second it landed in my inventory the guild achieved it. - Now working on Thunderfury, already got left half ;)

Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros - Guild Edition ----- This takes time, if u have a few gmembers farming this it shouln't take too long, if u have a good guild, rlly, some people probs already have it.
Warglaives of Azzinoth - Guild Edition --- not rlly hard anymore bt is easy now and glaives drop quite often rather time consuming
Val'anyr, Hammer of Ancient Kings - Guild Edition -- if u have a good guild, u got a guildee with this alrdy, if not, this can take some time
Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker - Guild Edition --- yeah this is a pain..
Thori'dal, the Stars' Fury - Guild Edition -- not even rare anymore ....
Shadowmourne - Guild Edition ---- no clue about this :d

Sure, Blizzard's intention is to make this achieve attainable for anyone right now, but that doesn't make the achievement any less misleading. More like the Awesome Collection.

As a DK it is pretty easy to get those, just make sure u have some1 who joins u in the battle for the first boss and make sure u can kill the 3faced boss with a couple, rest is Soloable for a DK since they can heal theirself (and give absorbtion with mastery of Blood Spec) by Deathstrike and heal theirself with Rune Tap in bloodspec.
But seriously Thank you for the info how to get them al :)

Prince Thunderaan is confirmed to be soloed at level 85, but if you should manage to die, you can just summon him again, no need to farm all items again :)
just for the once who are farming the mats, dont worrie about dying, it doesnt matter

Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's Rest - Guild Edition has been added as a requirement for obtaining this achievement as of Patch 4.2. Guilds that had obtained this achievement pre-4.2 will presumably be able to keep their achievement regardless of whether or not a member has obtained Dragonwrath.

With the release of Mists of Pandaria, and therefore the release of account-wide achievements, I am hoping / looking forward to a personal version of this achievements. Even a feat of strength, rather than a point-rewarding achievement.
