Alright i did this boss with 2/3/6 small group to be manageable not chaotic anyway the way you get the artifact:

There is 3 platforms and the artifacts show up the order is random so you have to keep an eye on it however it will show up in the pull / 75% / 50% while the boss is immune

The first debuff : damaging debuff like 2K or 5K i don’t remember honestly but it scales with your group regardless

Second one : is movement speed reduction ( 30% ) this is where you have to note something for example disengage talent that removes your speed reduction matters because if you remove it you literally screwed the achievement shapeshifting matters so you need a warlock or venthyr to do it smoothly

third debuff : your health is reduced 25% which you can get one shot by anything so be careful

tips i can say you need for this boss get a warlock / priest + a venthyr player so he/she can go there click on the artifact
you dont need the entire group over there you just need 1 player go there click and go back

i will still write about any missing achievement that nobody did any guide on so yep you can add me in discord if you wish for explanation or showing you the pic's of the worm or halondrus fight or any ach regardless

At this moment, shapeshifting as a druid makes you lose one of the buffs, therefore you will fail the achievement if you don't notice that on time.

I can't say anything about any other abilities at this moment, this is what our group went through so I am leaving this in hopes someone finds it useful and they don't get confused if they use tree form or die as a druid and wonder why their movement speed debuff is gone.

PSA: Freedom, Bladestorm, Posthaste, Druid Shapeshifting, and anything else that removes Slows will make you fail this.

If you think that's stupid, that's because it is.

Xy'mox - Xy Never, Ever Marks the Spot.
- Collect 3 artifacts for 3 debuffs and then defeat Xy'mox with ALL players under the effects of ALL debuffs.
- Artifact Locations. Need movement ability to reach. Only a single player needs to interact with each artifact.
- Artifacts spawn one by one: On pull / 75% / 50%. Debuffs: Unstable Ephemera, Crippling Ephemera, Enfeebling Ephemera
- Assigning players to the artifacts is recommended. Demon hunters are great.
- Do not use any ability that remove slows. This will remove the slow debuff and fail the achievement.
- Death does not remove debuffs.

FYI - don't let your non-healer druids die. Their death will make them shapeshift out of their form, breaking the criteria.

One of the hunter's abilities/covenant things that mimicked disengage.

We finally got it after the balance druids went resto. It took several attempts with sub 5% wipes - be ready to wipe if a guardian/boomkin/feral druid dies.

You cant shift forms as a druid, as that will remove the movement ability.
Also the Resto Druid 4-set will force you to shape shift into tree, so that will also clear the movement debuff, either dont be Resto Druid or take a piece of gear off.

We just attempted this achievement and the third relic did not spawn.

E: it spawned on another attempt, but it looks like the achievement can bug out sometimes.

Not everyone has to be alive for this achievement. The dead get the debuff aswell and if you succeed, the achievement. Also, this achievement can be tracked and turns white once you meet the requirements.

Note: Paladins can use their Divine Shield!

With the hotfixes on June 6, it appears that abilities that remove slows will now no longer cause you to lose one of the debuffs and thus fail the achievement.
"Artificer Xy'mox: Fixed an issue where Crippling Ephemera could be removed prematurely, blocking achievement success."
I haven't tested this myself yet, so maybe someone can confirm it.

Also of note... there's a small yellow orb called a "Haunting Memory" on the first platform (on the left as you enter the door), that isn't used for this achievement... but is a part of the achy for Anduin later on in the raid.
If you're here for the full glory run, then it's good to click on it while you're here :)

Of note, you don't need to worry about anyone dying in the fight for this achy
We were concerned about it on our run, but when someone died after the first phase, but kept the debuff on their corpse, we decided to press on and see what happened

and sure enough, the corpse continued to gain the other 2 debuffs from the other 2 artifacts on 2nd and 3rd phases.

So having any deaths, is not specifically a problem for the achy, and you don't need to wipe it and start again.

You will need classes that can cross the gap to the platforms around the room (these platforms are used in the mythic version of the fight). Make sure you are assigning a class that can go across and back. This can be done with Demonic Gateway, Heroic Leap, Leap of Faith, Double Jump, Door of Shadows, etc. Demon Hunters, or Venthyrs are ideal for this.

During the fight the artifacts spawn one by one at specific times: pull, 75%, and 50%. When an artifact spawns you will need to locate which platform it is on, and then send someone to collect it. This person will get the debuff and needs to come back to the raid to allow everyone to have the debuff.

The three debuffs are: Unstable Ephemera, Crippling Ephemera, and Enfeebling Ephemera.

Defeat the boss once everyone has all three debuffs. Dying will not remove a debuff and dead players can get new debuffs.

(Side note: if you are doing Anduin's achievement later, you need to send someone over to the first platform on left side and have them click on the Haunting Memory. It looks like a small glowing golden orb and is located about halfway down against the wall on the left. There are three of them you need to collect and this is one of them).

Can be done solo.
Did it with 477 BM Hunter Venthyr to use Door of Shadows.
Main pet teleported with me but secondary pet stayed in mid to tank boss.
Note that the relics despawn at some point so I was making sure that teleport was off CD before make another one spawn.
