He can Shoot you off of the Zepplins used by the Horde to Transport to Different locations. He's standing right in front of the entrance to the ship on top of the Spiral Staircase.

He'll throw you off, pulling you back onto the dock where you will be met by guards and another goblin attacker from what i remember it was level 45. Hits very hard, in order to board a ship as an Alliance you better have some kind of CC on him or a bubble.

I used Paladin Bubble and my Mage's Ice Block and then ran Downstairs into the bottom section of the Ship, where you can be shot through walls (thanks blizzard) but since you're traveling accross the World you will be Rezzed as soon as you load onto the next Zone. Getting off is the easiest part.

Added: They have an instant spawn rate, and usually have about 3 to 5 of them while under attack, so bring about 5 to 10 people if you really wanna spam the horde's /3 channel. When under the effects of a Mage's Ice Block or the Paladin's Bubble, they will not shoot, just wait. When elevated by the Shoot ability from him, you will float repeatedly until out of Shooting range, but the altitude that you are experiencing is just illusionary, as a Mage, you can Blink while in mid air and you will be automatically transported to the ground. As a hunter / warlock best choice would be to send pet first, to run by. They also can detect invisibility, so rogue's will have a hard time stealthing on unless you vanish after jumping on the boat, possibly evasion will work if while stunning them, this goes for druid's stealth too. Shamans might want to use Stoneclaw Totem to buy a little time to run downstairs, but as for Priests and Warriors.. I doubt you're getting on, sorry...

At the bottom of these staircases before you arrive to this NPC, you will most likely end up being chased by the level 65 guards at the entrance, there's 2 in Stranglethorn Vale, 4 in Tirisfal Glades, and 2 in Durator. These guards at the entrances have the ability to detect invisibility, so killing them might be a good idea first. If boarded successfully, and you arrive at the next destination, you will need to jump off the back in order to avoid further aggro from these guards, and while under the effects of Net, which can only be done while on the dock, they will not use Shoot, but just typical Melee. Ice Blocking or Bubbling after being lifted by the Shoot ability will only prevent damage and further shots fired, but will not interrupt your current flight through the air. Meaning, if you get thrown, then bubble, you're still screwed.

There are usually more than one of these NPC's attacking you at once, so if you CC one guarding the boat you're boarding, another will try to shoot you off. If you fail to CC and just run, you'll notice multiple shots lifting you continuously until out of range, where you will fall and lose health. If you happen to get Netted while on the boat probably becuase you jumped while being netted, the net will only have a slight chance of breaking from the Shooting, as to give you time to wish that you hadn't done this...

Alliance doesn't have such defenses :(

As a hunter who has soloed zepps many times i have enjoyed being flung of the zepp many times.
Die on zep... thn rez on the deck below... easy!
One wierd thing though im not sure this is just a simple emote or watever for horde but wen i rezzed on zepp i heard a goblin say...
"there goes the zeppelin to Orgrimmar, I hope there isnt any explosions this time."
Please tell me if u heard it and y/how u did.

WTF? Why don't the Alliance have guards like this protecting Menethil Harbor! I demand elite NPC be guarding Alliance ship ports!

Once the Cata expansion came these NPC Guard ( as many others too ) got very buffed, from lvl 75 elite with 30k hp to 85 elite with 464k hp and hits for insane amount of dmg.

My mage had a melee swing for 90k from one single hit, they hurt... a lot..

Edit: New expansion here! Now they have 1.2M hp and does 10-25k swings on a full blue heroic tank. I suggest you take other ways than the zeppelin :]
