I hear people are doing 3500-4000 dps at level 80, so this ability alone would heal:

70-80 HP/s per raidmember.

On DPS alone (15~players, in a AoE boss encounter) Blood Aura would heal

315000 - 360000 raid-wide on a 5 minute boss encounter

That is quite a lot of healing saved for the healers.

Imba in encounters with a lot of aoe on the raid
For example:

A fireball hit's the boss for 5000 damage, Then you get healed for 100.
And that happends every 2.5 second so as the poster above me said it will give some might raid healing.

I ain't in the beta so just wondering.. Are there any more auras for Deathknights? And what do those do? :p

100hps for 5k dps. A shadow priest doing only 3k dps would heal each of his group member for 750hps or 3750hps for the entire group. Over a 5 minute fight it would be 1125k healing, about 3x more than a DK could provide. Assuming 4k dps the numbers would be 1k hps per group member and 1.5M healing over the fight.

The healing is about equal to good-old frozen shadowweave set bonus, I can't say it has saved my life or made the healers job any easier for me while I was still using it.

I've been pretty much solo-healing my group from meteor splash damage on Brutallus with improved VE while doing ~1.4k dps on him. I can see raids having two SP's in a group with two tanks, it's pretty much like having extra hots on them at almost all times. It probably won't be make-or-break but it might help the healers at least a bit.

Now does this talent also heal the death knight as well or just other party members?

All party or raid members within 45 yards of the Death Knight are healed by 2% of the damage they deal. Only damage dealt to targets that grant experience or honor can trigger this heal.

I would say this doesn't work on yourself.

It does stack, not so long ago I did the ring of blood quest with 4 other DK and it did stack. This is so overpowered.It will be nerfed soon, no doubt.

For The Horde! or For The Alliance!:

Blood Aura x (raid of) 50 (blood spec'd dk's) = Healed for 100% of damage dealt.
Raise Dead + Death Pact = 20% of Max Health regenerated every 5 minutes (an individual dk's fail safe).

Death Strike + Glyph of Death Strike = Major attack/heal with runic power kept at maximum.
Rune Tap + Improved Rune Tap + Glyph of Rune Tap (all dk's) = Alternating 10% to 20% of max health healed.

If you appoint multiple group leaders, 5 groups of 9 could cast rune tap every 6 seconds. Every 30 seconds a group experiences 100% health regeneration and (over the course of the next 29 seconds) receives 90% healing at 6 second intervals thereafter (you probably had at least 10% health anyway...so basically 100%). This leaves a group of 5 people who can preform rune tap with purpose or by request (macro: /rw group 6, assist!).

All raid members are instructed to keep a blood rune on reserve for their respective turns. Each leader of the group has a macro that he casts when his rune tap cool down reaches 24 seconds (while the other 49 dk's fight). For instance, group leader 1 notifies group 2 to cast their rune tap (/rw group1 finished, group 2 start).

I'd like to see how this would pan out. Imagine how defeated the opposing faction would be to see the entire raid at full health every 6 seconds! In fact, you could probably storm the city and just stand there 'spamming' this and /taunt /laugh /train!

Various other abilities provide assistance should you find yourself in a bind (Vampiric Blood, Blood Worms, Abomination's Might , etc.).

While unlikely, it would be neat to see. Some guild should at least try the 'stand / taunt / rune tap' cycle theory. It'd be simple with raid warning macro's and people who really want to make it happen (it's something you could even practice before going in to the city!).

Edit: I'm speculating that rune tap functions in a raid the same as it does in parties, since blood aura does.

You tried improved rune tap with a group of 50 people by using blood aura in a group of five?

When I said:Blood Aura x (raid of) 50 (blood spec'd dk's) = Healed for 100% of damage dealt. It was an otherwise nominal point, considering the depth of the alternate context.

Are you guys sure that this aura stacks? I did ony and i havd 3 other dk's in my group who had this aura. But I was told that they didn't stack? The buff icons were thier, but It didn't feel any diffrent!

Ok so the part i'm concerned about is the "healing done to you is increased by 10% in Blood Presence". Obviously this is for anything coming from a healer, but does this include the incoming 4% heals from the presence?. So by spending 2 talents we get 10% more out of our 4%...seems really worthless. As it is, its tricky to stay above 75% for the gorged talents and blood worms don't really do ^&*! and rune tap is nice but hitting that is 1 less blood/heart strike. They should have made this so that we get the 4% heals in other presences and 10% in blood. I like the vampire aspect of the blood tree, but i think Bliz is just screwing this whole tree up. i might have to try unholy.

I really do hope that the +20% rune regen stays on live and forever more. This will make tanking so much easier <3 Oh, and not getting crit, too lol

The 20% rune regeneration is awesome. But too bad it doesn't work in Non blood presence.
