It probably should be mentioned....Somewhere that this ability is just like the hunter's Auto-shoot, except that when you right click it doesn't automaticly shoot. I'm still waiting for this to change :(

To use a wand, you need to drag your 'Shoot' action button to the action bar, The 'Shoot' action button can be accessed by opening your spell book (pressing P) and you will find it in the general tab.

To my knowledge, there does not seem to be a way to make your regular right-click attack use the wand instead of your melee attack. Also, shoot is not affected by attack-slowing effects such as slow poison.

Wands have two purposes in end-game raiding. The primary (and honestly, the only noticeable) use of a wand is to give the player extra stats. The secondary use is to be a backup weapon if the player runs out of mana (most higher geared DPSers don't), so they are at least getting some DPSing in.

I would love to see this come into play more in the <end>game, after all, mele classes do some magic damage, ranged classes could get a good extra 3k DPS in if we could RDPS with this and cast spells. even as a healer you could be using this to just mindlessly do damage waiting for something to happen (witch I would like to note will inevitably happen in 5 mans when you least expect it) BRING THIS IN OR BACK IF IT WAS EVER IN!
