Yet another CD-killer.

This spell should be extremely valuable in PvP, especially when you need to pull that last plague strike or obliterate off, or it could potentially save your life.

Okay so Obliterate costs one Unholy and one Frost rune. Specced into Annihilation your Obliterates don't eat diseases. Obliterate has no cooldown noted, so I'm guessing it doesn't have one.

So, you get to use FOUR consecutive Obliterates with this? Well, that's.... reassuring:))

It's not such a solid cooldown BTW, Ice Block has 5 mins CD and it's ultimately much more situational in PvE but a lot more desired in PvP.

basically Cold Snap, Readiness or Preparation for DKs

resets all runes (so they are available to use) and gives runic power, so helps in emergencies and allows some burst

A quick question. If you have runes on cooldown that will turn into death runes, will they refresh as death runes or as what they originally were?

Say I have Reaping. I IT, PS, SS, BS, BS, ERW. Do I have DDFFUU or BBFFUU?

Bearing in mind you want to use runes as soon as possible, and then use RP abilities when your runes are coming back, ERW can be a bit hard to fit in your cycle with maximum effect. Most of the RP generated from using 12 runes in a row (plus the 25 from ERW) is wasted.

However, Unholy DKs have an advantage - you can get maximize your DPS and get the full benefit of this ability if you use it when your gargoyle is keeping your runic power in check.

It is very useful. On lots of fights with no adds, you want to pop Army of the Dead before the pull. Of course those runes take 10 seconds to regenerate, so using this is real nice to get into the fight right away

I find this useful on AoE pulls as Blood. PS, IT, Pestilence, D&D, and then pop this.

I've found this useful for when quick burst DPS is needed (as stated before, it's used similarly to cold snap and other CD-reducing abilities). It's also fairly useful for if you mess up your rotation somehow (either by a boss mechanic stunning you/forcing you to get away or simply through the player not paying enough attention) and diseases drop off the target while you have no runes left. This allows you to reset your rotation and re-stack your diseases with no penalty to DPS while waiting for your runes to recharge. Basically a little insurance to fall back on if you screw up.

I prefer to use this when a DPS race is on like Berserk timer is close etc.As most of the times,i know when hero will be cast, try to keep runes ready then after hero is cast, i burn them and immediattely use ERW to get at least 4 and many times 5 runes back so the DPS goes way up.I have gotten 1st in dps ffrom 4th position many times by using thiis.
Great spell on a balanced cooldown.

A very useful ability, allows you to improve dps in instances, or even prevent that pause between CD's in an intense PvP battle.

The only problem I tend to find that it is one of those abilities which just tend to slip ones mind while in the heat of battle.
