This new totem talent for Shamans in Legion is replacement for the old talent Capacitor Totem.

They've streamlined this totem and fixed a lot of the drawbacks, making this talent really shine!
Note the following changes:

Capacitor Totem produces a targeting circle when used, allowing you to place it where you want, as well as showing it's radius once it triggers, which is quite useful.

The old talent Totemic Projection is removed in Legion, and the way this talent is designed, there is no need for it.
Note that all of the other "totem" talents (Earthgrab Totem, Voodoo Totem, Wind Rush Totem and Liquid Magma Totem) all have the built-in ability to be placed where the caster chooses. This is a great quality of life change!

The activation time of this new totem is 2 seconds, a HUGE improvement over the 5 seconds for Capacitor Totem (beating the activation time even with the old Major glyph Glyph of Capacitor Totem).

This makes this much more responsive than the old version, as enemies would often move out of the area you had place the totem before.
