Can't wait to see a model on this. I really hope it is an awesome looking mount that outdoes the Traveler's Tundra Mammoth.

Coming from a personal standpoint where I already have the mammoth, and since with MoP mounts will become account wide (as far as I am concerned), that I won't need another mount on another character.

The point I'm getting at is this mount better be so badass that its worth the 60k otherwise (if I didn't already have the mammoth) I would just buy the mammoth for the vendors and extra passenger room.

Three person mount, Sold by Uncle Bigpocket at the Grummle Bazaar in Kun-Lai Summit, which is a little east of One Keg.

Costs ~~60k~~ 120k (before any potential discounts), comes with usual vendors and a Reforger.

Edited to fall in line with price on MoP launch as oppose to the price a number of months ago.

Went to get this after the patch yesterday, and it's now showing as 108k gold (after discount I get from guild with 'Bartering')

Doubled overnight :-(

I was disappointed to learn that the vendor sells neither Tome of the Clear Mind, which seems kinda important, nor Eternium Thread.

Both are sold by the vendor on the Traveler's Tundra Mammoth.

The NPCs it carries are:

Cousin Slowhands: repairs, reagents, and level 90 Pandaria food. (The Reins of the Traveler's Tundra Mammoth still carries unupdated Lich King food.)
Mystic Birdhat: reforge

This mount is account-wide across factions, from personal experience.

Just a note Uncle Bigpocket is not affiliated with any faction/reputation. Thus 108k with the guild perk will be the cheapest you can get the Grand Expedition Yak. Was curious about this before I took the dip and bought mine.

As of the new expansion Blizzard announced they are removing reforging. This means the Reforger will be removed for this Yak, Blizzard also said at BlizzCon that they are not reducing the price of the Yak and are also not refunding a set amount of gold even though one of the vendors has been removed.

Maybe Blizz, you could consider adding a mail service when you remove the reforge vendor? I saved a long time to buy this mount and it's a little disappointing that we're losing a vendor from it with it nothing to make us feel better about the 108k (with discounts) we spent on it. I think 108k is a lot of gold to a lot of people in WoW still. Could have a trash vendor mount for 20k... A portable mail service would definitely help me feel better about it, anyway:)

Does anyone know how much the mount will be after the new expansion? I have been saving up for this mount for 3 months now and I'm almost to 90k but if they are dropping the price drastically I shall wait.

As of 6.0, the reforger will change into a transmog vendor.
