For resto using wild growth right after swiftmend seems to be the way to go. 50% haste adds several ticks to this already powerful spell.

This talent seems overshadowed by incarnation but it can actually add better burst or just overall healing in resto. I usually use it then wild growth, but in an emergency it adds like 3 ticks to tranquility and it only takes 4.55 seconds instead of 6.83. The haste bonus not only adds ticks for bonus heals, but it adds ticks to the HoT afterwards. I can get a 10m raid from 10% to full with it. When DPSing in resto (stumbling upon a rare or something) I use Heart of the Wild, swiftmend, and moonfire and I can usually pull about 60-70k dps instead of 40-50k.

For Restoration Druids using Nature's Swiftness whilst the passive for this talent is active, casting an instant version of Healing Touch or Regrowth will consume Soul of the Forest.

5.2 and for resto it is currently at 75% - and I love using the buff for a wild growth.

Recommended for Balance. You will end up in Eclipse almost all of the time which will increase your damage in general, but you will also be able to use your mastery to its fullest and you'll be getting Starfall procs quite frequently.

For 5.4 Guardian druids, this 30% applies to both the Mangle component (5 Rage->6.5) and the Primal Fury component (15->19.5) when you crit with the Mangle, for a total of 26 Rage versus 20 without this talent.

As with previous patches, this is still a little lackluster of a talent for raiding bears due to the fact that if you're geared in the ToT range, you've long since stopped having Rage starvation issues, unless you're either stacking Dodge and Stam, in which case this is a downgrade (previous to 5.4, this talent gave you 8 Rage per Mangle) if you don't crit very often.

The 15% damage bonus to Mangle might make this worth it, but remember this is at the cost of not having available to you in its place.

Synergizes with the redesigned Dream of Cenarius, which adds 10% crit chance to your Mangle.

You're going to end up with a lot of wasted procs with this as a balance druid. Activating AC at 0 eclipse energy isn't always possible within 30 seconds. Good for sustained DPS, I guess.

As of 5.4 this is an extremely powerful and versatile talent choice for resto druid pvp.

You can utilize it for many things such as getting off clones, single target healing, spead healing, or getting extra damage out of your heart of the wild.

Another thing most people don't realize about getting the most out of this talent is that if you cast a hasted cast time heal (regrowth, nourish, or healing touch) into a 3 stack lifebloom, those refreshed blooms will also benefit from the 100% haste, gaining essentially double benefit from an already powerful buff. You can then follow up that cast with a rejuvenation, cenarion ward, and possibly a wild growth or genesis as well if more healing output is still needed, but will keep your powerful lifeblooms still at double strength.

As an additional note for resto, casting Lifebloom while Soul of the Forest is active will give it the haste buff, but it will NOT stay, it will revert back to standard tick speed as soon as it is re-applied or the duration is refreshed via a direct heal.

So be warned healers ^^ wild growth is defiantly the way to use this.

Just recently realised the resto version does not double your haste, it adds one hundred percentage points. Thus this talent is not better for a haste build than a mastery build, it is in fact the opposite, since mastery will make the added ticks you get from the added haste more powerful.

If a mastery build gives you 25% more mastery than a haste bulid the SotF added healing will be 25% stronger. It's more than a little, perhaps even enough to make mastery builds better than haste builds.
