Will it work on an ally that is in combat, even if the rogue is not? This move could be HUGE in PvP, both Battlegrounds and arenas, giving a team enough time to totally re-position themselves, or sneak around some defenses. Nice to see one more group interaction rogue move.

As of 9 April 2012, this ability has the following requirements / benefits:

Rogue needs to be in stealth mode.
After activation, It conceals your entire party / raid for 15 seconds, on a 5 minute cooldown.
Rogue has a 20 yard invisibility effect which is visible to everyone in your party.
It does not give a debuff, so it can be - in theory - chain cast with multiple rogues.
The entire party can move and stay stealthed, as long as they remain in the vicinity of the effect.
It's not known If damage breaks it (most likely it will).

On the unlikely event that this spell goes live in this situation, rogues will be extremely beneficial if not necessariy in Challange Modes to skip 15 seconds worth of trash, as well as a great gank / capture tool in battlegrounds.

I tried using this in an Isle of Conquest BG, i found out that it cloaks Glaive Throwers and possibly other vehicles as of now. If this is a bug or not i don't know. They did however become visible for a second when attacking.

This ability is currently bugged (i assume) in that the effective radius increases or decreases based on your character's size, and seems to scale with all abilities or effects which increase (or decrease) your characters size

for instance, when used with Vrykul Drinking Horn, Winterfall Firewater, or any other similar item, the effective radius increases to about 28 yards, and i can only assume that the radius of this ability would be quite impressive indeed with a double Grow buff and one of these items

HOWEVER.... this also applies to items which shrink your character, such as Noggenfogger Elixir (when i used shroud of concealment with the shrink from noggenfogger active, the effective radius was only about 5-6 yards, so beware)

you can easily see the active scaling of this ability by already having a size increase buff active when you go stealth, activate this ability, then right click your size buff off, and you can visibly see Shroud of Concealment's effective circle decreasing

A small interesting note, as of now, Cheat Death resets the cooldown of Shroud of Concealment. Might change in 5.2 or hotfixed along the xpac.

A rogue pop this when we were attacking in Strand of the Ancients.
By the time this expired we were already at door unloading bomb. Door was down within a minute.
Love it!
Wish feral has this too.
