How does this work with Might of Ursoc? Does it heal for 30% of your normal health, or your boosted health?

Says "Useable in all shapeshift forms.", but I can't use it in flight form without shapeshifting.

Flight form is considered a flying mount in some circumstances, like e.g in wintergrasp you can't shapeshift in flight form while there is a battle going on.

Unlike Nature's Swiftness, it can't be used in Flight Form (Even though it says usable in all forms also). Spells like Barkskin that were actually usable in all forms before MoP, but now it seems it's not possible even though it says usable in all forms.

It should be noted that this talent is largely shadowed by the powerful and versatile Nature's Swiftness for several reasons, and as such, I do not recommend ANY druid of ANY specialization to invest in this Renewal.

Firstly, I know for a fact that the 50% Healing bonus that comes from Nature's Swiftness when combined with Healing Touch is often, if not always, far more than 30% of my health (as Balance). In fact, I've gotten a few lucky crits that have actually maxed out my health when I was around the 20% mark.

As Resto, Nature's Swiftness is also much more versatile, as not only can you instantly use:

/castsequence reset=3 Nature's Swiftness, Healing Touch

(3 is the amount of seconds until the macro resets, and can be changed based on preference. This is useful if you want to press the macro and use another ability, in addition to being able to simply hit the button twice for the instant heal.)

but you can also easily make a macro for any of your abilities that are modified by the Nature's Swiftness effect. This includes Rebirth, Entangling Roots, Cyclone, and also additionally and Regrowth if you are a Restoration Druid, and 50% increased Resto-spec Healing Touch would indefinitely heal yourself for more than 30%.

Also, Nature's Swiftness has a 1-minute cooldown, compared to Renewal's 2 minutes.

I cannot say for sure how effective this ability is for PvE-based Feral and Guardian druids - If self-healing is all you will occasionally do, and a base Healing Touch won't cover it, then I suppose I can understand the use of Renewal. It's use for instant improved Rebirth should be noted as well.

And of course, if you are a PvPer like myself, this talent is, quite simply, vital to ANY druid. This includes Entangling Rootsing a flag carrier while in pursuit for an extended duration, the brutal 9-second Cyclone, or a surprise heal when the enemy least expects.
