there is no race to win the contest. All you need to do is catch a rare fish in the contest to get the boots

heres what doesnt make sense to me...
at the top it says requires lvl 31 to do quest... and on the boots up above it says binds when picked up...

so how exactly can u get them on a lvl 19 twink if u have to be 31 to aquire them, and the are bound to you?

alright i made a mage twink.... i love him so much..... hes awesome lol tons of casting power but..... ok so im trying to get this for him but i dont know what fish skill or i mean fishing skill i need to caatch this guy??? what is it does he have one or is yeah or just please answer me back on this question thanks, datal

lol but i do have a question can u get the quest to catch these guys with out it being the fishing cntest ? like can u go get the quest camp out at a spot then log on still have the quest and be able to catch the fish or does it have to be the fishing contest like it to be on for u to get the quest? - datal

this is the best twink boots i know for a lvl 19 twink. i just got them last sunday :)

do you have to have a certain lvl fishing skill to catch this fish? Or can you catch it with a lvl 1 fishing skill

I am confused I have fished for the rare fish every tournement and have yet to catch any of these rare fish, out of aprox total of 500 tasty fish not one rare and my fishing is 375 at Level 65
Do you have to be a low level to catch these imaginary fish

You can be fishing for the first time or for the 100th time, doesn't give any higher chance you will have it drop. When i had my 19 twink i fished for 28 weeks to get these and i played with people who had been after them for much longer.

Well worth the time investment, sets the dedicated twinks apart from the rest.
