You have 15 minutes until Chromie die, so investigate shrines across Draginblight. If cant realise what to do:

Azure dragonblight - slay elementals and loot Darkened Scrap of Vellum. When got 50, combine them to Voidcallers' Scroll.
You'll get Voidcallers' Scroll quest, fly to floating disc, turn it in and defeat Void Gargantuan. Loot Smoldering Chronoshard to open portal to Hyjal.
Ruby dragonblight - slay three elites in the shrine, loot three Soul Crystal Fragment and combine to Soul Crystal.
You'll get Soul Crystal quest, fly to the cave in a tree, turn it in and defeat Talar Icechill. Loot Frozen Chronoshard to open portal to The Culling of Stratholme.
Emerald dragonblight - slay mobs to collect 10 Twisted Fiber and 8 Emeraldine Plume and combine to Nightmare-Catcher. Use it and slay two mobs that channeling to a tree protector. There are three protectors in the shrine, so you have to to that three times. After that you'll get The Ancients' Wisdom. Turn it in near the water next to a bone hand, slay Thalas Vylethorn and loot Gleaming Chronoshard to open the portal to Andoral.
Obsidian dragonblight - get through the cave and defeat Charredbone Goliath. Loot Demonic Corestone and get out of the cave. Turin in Demonic Corestone when leaved and slay Zorathides.
Loot Fel-Touched Chronoshard to be able to open the portal to Well of Eternity.

The Deaths of Chromine quest chain consist of few parts, I hide some data under the spoiler:

The quest chain:

The Day That Chromie Dies - just see that she dies.
Rewind - the same one, but you'll have to speak with dragons before Chromie dies.
The Many Advantages of Being a Time Dragon - you'll have 15 minutes to get some info about attackers. Chromie dies when the time ends.
Preserve the True Future - there are four shrines across Dragonblight, you have 15 minutes to stop the attacks.
During the quest you get info that there are also four other attacks you have to stop
The Deaths of Chromie - now you have to stop all eight attacks in one attempt.

If you cant realise what to do in dragonshrines, there are small guides:

Great, now some info about instance scenarios:

The Well of Eternity just run it from the end to the entrance and slay Grolethax
Mount Hyjal - get close to Chromie's body and slay few waves of mobs.
Battle for Andoral - during Sky Ablaze With Cannonfire quest you have to defeat enormous gun. It has 80% damage reduction and the same chance to avoid damage.
There are few elites (such as Roobi Skizzelvolt) that drops items to disable those buffs. There are also war-captains which drop Military Explosives. Use that to destroy the cannon faster.
The culling of Stratholme - you have to finish quests: Smoke, Meat, and Pretty Flowers, Yeah, Definitely for the Kids, Holing Up,
For Emery and Fight Plague with Fire. As you done run through the scenario as you run through the instance in CoT. Slay Nezar'Azret in the end.

after trying twice, i finally was able to kill the lich and get to the void lord but time expired on the platform, reset. ok.. this is frustrating but retry.. go to the voidlord.. he wont spawn.. tried to kill npc's to regain the combine-able resources and they dont drop -any- loot except for the occasional loot scroll. :\ I'm gonna put this down for a while and come back when this gets fixed hopefully

Just gone live.

I don't think this is a classic one-time/one-try scenario.

So don't be prepeared to go in-kill-loot- and go out. You'll need to go in several times.

And with a little patience you can farm Reputation for Chromie and some Timewarped Badge and some other goodies.

Ok.. here's the parts that I think most people are missing: first, your IL is raised to 1000 and your lvl to 112, so damage isn't the issue nor is gear. Second, you can do the shrines in you own time. You have 15 minutes for each. Once you complete them all, start a new instance and you only have to kill the bosses. Third, the Chrono-portal bosses are NOT required for the base questline, only the bonus. GL with that until Chromie is maxed.

Just keep doing it. Over and over. It will all make sense. You don't need to get it right the first time, that would be pretty impossible!

"The Well of Eternity" - Turn left, hug the side to not having to fight every demon on the way. Click the portal, go left, kill boss, go on to what is the start of the normal dungeon instance.

"Mount Hyjal" - Don't go anywhere. Keep an I on Chromie. Kill mobs when when she is attacked. The portal back is behind you. (On the south end of the shelf there is a portal-thingy with loot int it - at least for me).

as a melee this thing is a JOKE "your ilvl/dmg dosn't matter" .. eehh like hell it does u get squished by the bosses in an instant NO chance of healing whatsoever so either you or chrome dies within a minute and SOLO stuff ? cmon atleast make it 2-3 ppl instance os u have a chance with a healer !

guys, question : can one complete 1 shrine, say today, a second next week, and so on..? Or do we have to do all 4 in one go...

Healers: choose Chromie's talents appropriately and you may find it easier to do this scenario in heal spec!

There are a lot of mechanics happening in this scenario; it will take time for you to complete it and it will not be done in one try.

What to do (early stages):

Fly to one of the four areas around Wyrmrest that need your attention.
Kill whatever mobs you find there, gain rep and collect the items they drop.
Use the items to summon a boss for that area; kill and loot the boss.
Finish the quest with Chromie to open a portal up in the Temple.

Chromie will get killed when the time runs out. Choose a different area for your next attempt until all bosses are summoned.

What to do (later stages):

Your ultimate goal is to kill all bosses in one run, within 15 minutes.

You will not be able to do this at first, but as you raise your rep and run the fights a few times several mechanics change which help.

Rep with Chromie makes things much easier / faster; take every chance to earn rep that you can.
Your gear is irrelevant: your player level goes to 112 and item level is fixed at 1000 for the scenario.
Experiment with your spec - the mechanics change. For example, as druid I preferred heal spec to boomkin. YMMV.
Dragonshrine bosses will spawn immediately once you've summoned them the first time.
In early stages choose rep from Sands of Time; when making your final run take buffs and speed items.
If Time-Lost Keepsake Box is offered from Sands of Time, it may drop helpful speed-up items.
Extra Sands of Time can be found by killing a silver-portrait mob outside the entrance of each Dragonshrine.

Gear with an item level of 700 and up seem to all scale up to 1000 item level when inside the scenario. So Warlords of Draenor items also scale up, including the legendary ring (though the use effect does not seem to work).

what a joke this quest line is - and as usual BLIZZTARD leave it all up you to work out what you have to do - lucky there is WOWHEAD otherwise WOW quests would take forever to do - virtually impossible! WHAT A TIME WASTER in a game that seems to have run out of things to do . . . very disappointing that nowadays every quest has to be fathomed out using forums and google searches!

friendly notice to all that attempt this quest.

This is not the kind of quest you can complete in one day and/or get right on the first try.

unless you have free time and i mean ALLOT OF FREE TIME you may have to put doing this quest on hold until you have allot of free time (time off from work is part of it btw).

with luck id say give about 1 to 3 hours minimum

Ok so here is my problem
So the other day i when to all 4 dragonshires and beat them which unlock the 4 boss scenario shires i just beat all 4 of them last night but not all in one go i would beat one and head back into the present go back in and beat the next i never got them boss summoning shards so i thought this was the easiest way so after beating the fourth one it didn't unlock the next stage so here is my question
Do i reallly have to beat the 4 bosses from the shires in one go?

Compare to other shrines, Azure is the most difficult.
I tried this several times, and always got killed by void lord(Gargantuan)within 15 sec.
Luckily I just accidentally found an easy way to defeat the boss.
As soon as the fight starts, have your pets start attacking immediately, then fall off the platform.
You'd be close to dying(10~15% hp left) while pet and Chromie continue to fight on the platform.
Remotely control your pet to the victory! Note that you won't be able to heal your pets though, too far!

I cant't believe how frustrating this was for me, but might I recommend if anyone ever does this look up somewhere on YT or find some guide and just collect all those chest and kill those magmataurs or whatever they're called. This scenario as you may already know has RNG meaning you can be either really lucky or really unlucky. Either way my logic being, if you gather enough chests I believe that you'll have a higher chance of getting something that you can really use to your advantage or to save time. I was determined to get this done and I got it done but I might add it was pretty frustrating because I kept running out of time in each cast scenario or dying from the anticipation and I finally ended up beating with twenty seconds left.

Are these quests even worth it? What do we get out of them? Again I say casual and super casuals will never complete these quests and if/when they do it'll take a long time and cause more frustration than joy. Annoying time consuming quests do not give joy. They give headaches. I think I may just not do these. I don't know what I am missing out on not doing them but since the next expansion is going to come out probably in a few months I doubt this quest is worth the time or effort to even do.

As of Battle For Azeroth 8.2, this scenario can still be completed at level 120. I was able to get Chromie Homie which grants the "Timelord" title after about 2 hours of farming (and always selecting the rep buffs from Sands of Time). You do not have to complete the entire Chromie talent tree in order to complete the scenario. The talents I chose were Acceleration, Rapid Recovery, and Chrono Charisma (which takes 24 hours to research, and by the time it had completed researching, I had already farmed my way to Exalted/Timelord with Chromie, so I switched to Dragon's Determination and fortunately once you've completed the research time for one talent within that tier, you can immediately switch back and forth between the two talent choices in the same tier. I was in the process of researching Blessing of the Bronze Dragonflight when I started another attempt at the scenario, intended to simply be a loot run as I was pinning all the locations of the chests when I happened to luckily loot the skips for 2 of the 4 chronoportals and 1 of the dragonshrines and rushed through to complete the scenario about 10 seconds after the 15-minute timer had run out (so I was operating on Stolen Time at that point). Once you have saved Chromie from all 8 threats, the countdown stops and you are able to farm the mobs and chests (which WILL respawn).

My suggestions:

If you just want the Timelord title, choose rep buffs from Sands of Time (always the left-hand choice) and kill lots of creatures within the scenario. You could easily fly around to the 4 dragonshrines in Dragonblight and farm mobs/chests in 15-minute intervals until you get to exalted/Timelord with Chromie. Once you earn Chromie Homie, you've got the title. No need in trying to save Chromie from all 8 threats. At 120, you don't really even have to research any talents unless you just want to speed things up a bit. I hadn't even completed researching the tier-3 Chrono Charisma by the time I got to exalted/Timelord with Chromie.
If you're trying to complete the scenario to save Chromie from all 8 threats and earn the transmog set, then choose the right-hand option on Sands of Time UNLESS the left-hand option is Time-Lost Keepsake Box because this box contains the Chronoportal skips. The right-hand side buffs can stack to 10 which means you could have 100% movement increase/damage and healing increase/damage reduction depending on what choices you can make when using Sands of Time.
If you're farming for the pets (Ageless Bronze Drake and Bronze Proto-Whelp), then farm the scenario for Sands of Time and choose the left-hand option Time-Lost Wallet when available. Otherwise, choose the left-hand rep buffs if you're going for the achievement/title, and choose the right-hand options for buffs/Dragonshrine skips.

I know how this looks, <name>. I'm not asking for your help simply because I don't want to get killed. I need your help because this isn't how I'm SUPPOSED to die. I will die - I've seen it! - but it happens much later than this. Besides, meddling with the timeways for personal reasons - well, it goes against pretty much everything my dragonflight stands for. Let's stop all four of the dragonshrine attacks. That should do the trick.
