The games are more popular than ever, and that means we're giving out prizes faster than we ever have before!

We're going to need more prizes, and fast. If you've some skill in leatherworking, I can give you a kit. You'll need to buy some of the pieces from any trade goods merchant in Elwynn Forest or Mulgore, but they're inexpensive.

Will be great that these quests are repeatable. Nice for those 5 points here and there you don't want to spend 1000g or hours farming mats to level.

the profession quests that grant skill points ARE repeatable, but would only grant skill points like once a week or so...

FYI... You will be crafting 5 Darkmoon Prizes. So it will take 10 Shiny Baubles, 5 Course Thread, and 5 Blue Dye. Thought I would let everyone know since no one has specified. I showed up with only one set of the items and had to go back to town for more.

One of the new patch 4.3 Darkmoon Faire profession quests, you must have at least 75 skill in Leatherworking to see this quest.

Requires 10 Shiny Bauble, 5 Coarse Thread and 5 Blue Dye which cannot be bought on Darkmoon Island so remember to bring some with you.

The profession quests can only be completed once during each Darkmoon Faire and will grant 5 skill points.

The nearest vendors to the Darkmoon Faire portals are Kuruk (H), Innkeeper Farley (A) for the Moonberry Juice and Shadi Mistrunner (H), Tharynn Bouden (A) for all the other trade goods. You'll have to collect the fossil fragments yourself. If you forgot to bring your fishing rod with you, Tatia Brine on Darkmoon Island sells fishing supplies.

For the Horde, you can zone to Mulgore go up the lift and buy all the required mats fromShadi Mistrunner who is just right of the small pond.

EDIT: Make sure to make your (5) Darkmoon Prizes there before going back just to make sure you bought what you needed...it's an unhappy run back for one coarse thread!

Even if you done the primary profession quests that week, if you drop a profession during Darkmoon Faire week, you can do the quests for the profession that you pick up as well. Even rewarding the achievement Faire Favors without completing one of the secondary skill quests such as Archaeology or Fishing.

Possibly means that if your toon has no professions you could conceivably do the quest for every primary profession each month, awarding you with 36 Darkmoon Prize Tickets instead of just 8. (Assuming you're willing to get each profession to 75 and really really want the tickets right meow.)

If Medium Leather is overpriced on your server, then this quest is a nice way to level leatherworking from 145 to 150. The simplest alternative requires 70x Medium Leather. There are other alternatives that use less Medium Leather, but they require Medium Hide or elixirs that may not be readily available.

Is it bad that I've been doing this quest faithfully every month since the new Darkmoon Faire was introduced, and I've only just realised that the Shiny Baubles are used as the cuddly toys' eyes?
