You will need a Darkmoon Game Token to play any Darkmoon Games.

You can earn a token by turning in a quest, or you can simply buy 20 tokens for 1g 92s at level 85 (1g80s if you're exalted from before or if you're a goblin) by buying the Sack'O Tokens !
The price of the sack depends on your level (57s 60c to a player level 67 for example)!

These tokens are used to play the following games :

- It's Hammer Time
- The Humanoid Cannonball (obtainable achievement : Blastenheimer Bullseye)
- He Shoot, He Scores! (obtainable achievement : Quick Shot)
- Tonk Commander
- Target: Turtle

If you don't manage to get all 30 "whacks" done in one round, your score saves, so you can use another game token and finish off the quest.

They changed the reward for all the daily games, you only get 1 prize ticket now so you can only get 5 per day doing the games.

When your not doing the daily it shows your count /30. If you achieve 30 hits, which sadly I think is nearly impossible, do you get additional tickets or something? Or is that just for the sake of placing a limit..

I think they should have a gnoll npc next to mola that says stuff like
"Whack some babies! Save my brothers from them evil babies! Oh and look out for hogger he trying to help my brothers too!"

Make sure you cast any speed enhancing spells (Aspect of the Cheetah Unholy Presence) before you start the game, as you will be unable to cast them while the vehicle interface is up.

Just whack the "freshest" ones, unless a Hogger pops up, forget where you were going and head straight to it.

Remember you can run through the barrels. Standing inside a barrel will means you won't miss.

Also, you could always put Minor Speed some non-binding white boots if your class doesn't have a speed increase mechanic.

Pan the camera so all 9 barrels are visible, never stop running, pay attention to the white flash that revals in which order the gnolls spawn, and remember that you can run through the barrels!

Fun game, though every time I play it I have to exit wow due to the game freezing every few seconds. Its always fine when I log back in.

I discovered the conflicting addon to be Tulla Range after I disabled it the freezing stopped.

Quick Tip:
You can walk through most, if not all, of the barrels to speed up travel time in the game area.
Seems like it may be obvious, but sometimes those things aren't.

Unlike most dailies, the dailys for the booth games give absolutely no experience. Which is why you get no gold from completing them.

You can't level up your lowbies by doing these dailys.

EDIT: Now in 5.0.4, although they still give no experience, they count as level appropriate quests for 60,000 guild exp each time you complete them.

It appears that you do not share the same Gnolls with others around you. I saw one person hit multiple babies without getting so much as slowed down let alone knocked down. They also completely ignored my hoggers. Some more testing may be needed for confirmation of this.

My power torrent enchant shows up on the hammer while doing this quest, which might be a bug but it's cool anyways.

I wonder if Sayge is upset about this game; He is the friendliest gnoll I ever knew.

One Ticket Tactics - Go for the smoke

All of the Darkmoon Faire daily games can be completed on a single ticket. Different games require more skill or luck to achieve this one ticket goal.

In "It's Hammer Time", the key techniques are:

Pan the camera back so you can see all of the barrels at once.
NEVER stop moving. Swing on the run.
Use the "1" key to swing the hammer and the mouse to move
Avoid hitting children. They will stun you for several crucial seconds.
Aim for the gnoll/hogger that just popped up and still has steam around the base. If the steam isn't there, you're likely to swing right as the gnoll pulls back down, costing you valuable time.
Try for the dark brown gnoll (Hogger) if you have a choice. He's worth 3 points. Do NOT run for a Hogger without steam around the base, you'll most often be too late and waste a swing.
You can run through barrels.
Don't worry about your competition beating you to the gnoll. Both of you can whack it and get the point(s).

Even if you do everything right, if enough Hoggers don't pop up, you can't finish this in one ticket. Go ahead and spend the extra ticket to complete this game as your score is cumulative across multiple tries during faire time.

I am almost certain this game is bugged/biased against Taurens (or druids). I've played this game every month for the past 10 months on all 7 of my toons (that would be 560 times, but I probably missed a few days, so say 540 times). In addition to the fact that a Tauren's height makes him miss more often and that he seems to be walking in quicksand, the game gives my Tauren far fewer 3-pointers than any of my other toons. I just played one game and only saw one 3-pointer. It's impossible to win the game on one go around with just 1-pointers. It happens far too often for it to be random.

Btw, my BE paladin and troll warrior have the easiest time, often finishing with ample time on the clock.

Edit: Type of swing also plays a large role in effectiveness: sideway swings (e.g., blood elf, goblin, and troll) are much more forgiving than overhead swings (e.g., orc and tauren). This can be a little compensated for by panning left or right through the target as you make your swing.

i find the animations very interesting. The worgen hammer strike animation has them do a 360-degree forward rolling air flip to perform the strike.

Night elves will do the diagonal 360 degree twirl strike.

What do other races do?

This seems to be slightly bugged as of 5.1. I am having targets pop up one on top of another within the same barrel. Sometimes this works out well like when you get multiple gnolls in a row, but sometimes it works against you like when you get a hogger target and a doll in the same barrel.

"Fun Fact" :D they face you when they come up, i.e you'll know which one was later by the way they face, this includes all 3, babies, regulars an hoggers.

There appears to be a very slight bug for the actual game itself, not the quest.

If you move into the gaming area too fast after selecting "Ready to Whack!", like a split second, you'll end up bugging the game. The Hammer action Bar would show up, but you'll be teleported out of the zone with the warning "Please stay out of the gaming area." You could walk back into the gaming area afterwards, but no gnolls will spawn, and you would have wasted a ticket.

Happened to me twice because I was a little impatient, but it shouldn't be a problem to those who take their time.

I used some firewater as a tauren and my reach was much longer with the hammer.
I barely had to take a couple steps to whack anything.

When u come from the path up there before the turn to the left u can use a slow falling spell or a parachute and flying over the cliff towards this game, being teleported by Mola to her telep spot.

~~This Quest is bugged in Patch 6.0.3 you can whack the Gnolls but it will not count for the Quest :( Hope they fix this soon~~

Confirmed this is still bugged on 6.0.3 build. It's failing on a PvP server and also fails when I try joining a PvE realm.
