So just to make it clear, you need to throw the net and then speak to the Quilboar who should now have turned green/passive. When you speak to him, you will see an option come up to pounce him.

After pouncing, you can drag him back to the quest giver.

I absolutely love the fact that you can MOUNT, DISMOUNT, run around, grab other quests, engage in battle, eat... etc and this thing will stay attached to you as you run amuck through the Northern Barrens. I try to grab this quest BEFORE grabbing any others just so I can drag this thing around.

It does seem to have a time-limit on it though. If I had to guess I'd estimate the ability to drag it around for something like 15-20 minutes before it disappears. And I'd gather that you can't drag it out of the Northern Barrens either. But then you just go grab another one if you're in the mood.

I love this quest.

If you're a hunter, be sure to dismiss your pet first, or this quest won't work at all.

Post-Cataclysm Guide:
Once you pick up this Quest do not follow the in-game quest helping pointer. Go directly south from the Orc who gave you the quest and you'll see a lot of Quillboars charging this baracade as Horde Guards attack them. Net one and he becomes green. Then you speak with him and he'll say:

<Snort> Is this how cowards fight, (race)?

Click the hilarious option and pound that chump. Then drag the sucker back to the Orc directly up north.

This is the fastest way to do the quest as these are the closest mobs. No risk of getting lost or forgetting where quest giver is.

As of patch 5.4, You can use the goblins' Rocket Jump Ability while doing this quest.

Mages can use blink without the Razormane disappearing.

Quest may be bugged, it was for me anyway. I dragged four different quillboar pillagers to her. Sometimes with no mage's Elemental, sometimes without blinking; I tried logging out and back in and re-accepting quest. Nothing works.

I just love the "special effect" when dragging the razormane on the ground. Seeing the rock and dust displaced is cool.

Once you get the prisoner, quest goal markers are completely off. You get no map-clue where to deliver (Togrik). Blizz, is it really that hard to fix this kind of stuff? Over the years? I mean, just fix 10 minor bugs each day, and we’ll have a clean and nice game (all expansions) in 2 years or so. But I guess we’d have to pay extra for that.

Use the Grol'dom Net to ensnare a Razormane Pillager and drag it back to Togrik at Grol'dom Farm.

Description

It is our instinct to simply lash out at our attackers, but wisdom dictates another path. We should interrogate one of these quilboar invaders and learn all we can. Take this net, <name>, and ensnare a quilboar pillager attacking our farm just west of here. Club the beast unconscious and bring him to me.
