Look for the exhausted Vrykul in the tunnels. Some of the Vrykul don't take kind to a lady beating them with a rod, and fight back.

Hunters, just poke around on your minimap for em with track humanoids on.

Some will attack you when you discipline them, most won't. And yeah, keep your pets on passive since whenever you use the rod your pet has the need to discipline them further ^.^

Oddly enough, druids can switch forms to fight the ones who attack you without changing the appearance of the costume or losing the costume.

Interesting note...

If you are a Shaman while transformed into one of the ice lady things, your water shield and lightning shield spin around your knees.

it looks funny.

Killing the Exhausted Vrykul will also give credit.

They also use Desperate Blow, which stuns them for 3 seconds while dealing 200% weapon damage to you.

Use the on 6 Exhausted Vrykul inside Forlorn Mine in Storm Peaks, entrance at 42,70.
when you got count Exhausted Vrykul Disciplined kill him.

Ok so I have read the my quest log 13 times, I have done everything it says to do (can't be that difficult) but I don't get credit when I discipline them, anyone else have this problem? Please help thanks

Make sure you aint in a raid grp, you cant do most quest in raid grp =)

You will find them lying or sitting on the ground, some will fight back. Simply kill them.

Halfway through this quest, as I was casting Penance on these guys, I was thinking of only one thing:

YOU LACK DISCIPLINE!

When you accept this quest go to the left side and down the stairs and go into the tunnel on your left. There's more workers in here then on the right side. When you find a worker sitting down go over to him and clock on the stick and he either gets back up and says Back...To....Work or he attacks you. Workers are 77-80 so not really hard. I only had 1 attack me.

Once I finished disciplining the Vyrkul I went to turn in the quest but it would only let me attack Mildred even though she had a ? above her head. Any thoughts? It may be a bug I guess.

I think I may have experienced a bug while questing with my paladin. I logged out while in the cave under disguise, and when I logged back in, I still had my disguise up, but the Hyldnir were hostile to me. Can someone help me with this issue?

hunters are lucky.Seems that exausted vrykul are afraid of snakes.

lay down snake trap and smack him with discipline rod, it will work 100%

Another helpful fact. If you accidentally shoot the exhausted Vyrkul on sight, in the head, and he in his exhaustion tries to fight back, you can still discipline him, and then finish him off... Lazy peon bastards....

Had an issue with losing my Disguise at one point, making completing the quest impossible due to the "attack" options showing up on the Quest giver.

I simply left the cave, flew out of the village and right back into the cave. Disguise was back and was able to turn in the quest.

Just a quick bit of information for those looking for the Horde version. This quest shows that it is Alliance only but my Undead rogue just got it. It would seem as if Wowhead is a bit glitchy.

Description

Let's start you off with something straightforward. The male vrykul that work the mines for us do so against their will... purely out of fear of our blades.

Once in a while, one of them will lose their motivation. Find any uncooperative vrykul and put them in their place.

Take this disciplining rod. You'll want to inflict pain, not death. Well, most of the time anyway.
