From the footage seen in Fatboss's video, this fight looks INCREDIBLE; Helya emerges from the sea, right in front of the Naglfar, and the fight with her causes greater and greater damage to the ship, particularly when she tears off the bow in order to confront you directly. I hate to say it, but it looks like Blizzard has found a way to top Grimrail Depot.

If people are having trouble on the phase where you attack the body itself with the corrupted bellow we found that you can stand on the hands (bascially the edges of the ship) you don't get hit by the bellow and won't take damage from it.

Her hairstyle is kind of neat. Big thick braids only on top, that come down around her shoulders to make a 'collar'. Looks .. punky. Suitable for the queen of the underworld.

Even after searching on the internet, I didn't find anyone who know what I am about to tell you, so I decided I would leave a comment here, it's pretty rare for me but hey, if I can be useful :p

So actually, if you /knee to Helya, she's gonna look at you for a second. She's also going to target you for a second, but you can only know if you have an add-on which tells you who your target is targeting.

As far as I'm aware, it only works in Helheim. I suppose it doesn't work in the dungeon, and I never tried in the raid.

I discovered this while leveling my third character. When you first meet her, she will tell you "How dare you ask me to listen to you without kneeling !" or something. Just for fun, I /knee'd, and it turns out she looks at you. You'll see her moving a bit and targeting you. I'm surprised no one found this, actually.

I originally left this comment on the Wowhead page of the Helheim Helya, but since no one is interested in this one, I thought I would also leave this comment here.

All of the items are miscategorized. Brinewater is dropped by Helya (Trial of Valor) and not Maw of Souls. I think somehow the loot got switched. All of the loot under Helya (Maw of Souls) is real Helya (Trial of Valor) and vice versa. Not a big deal, but thought I'd point it out.

Defeating Helya's Tentacles wounds her, and after defeating several tentacles, Helya submerges and continues to barrage the Naglfar with her tentacles. After 15 sec, Helya rips the front of the Naglfar in half and combats players directly, periodically retreating to the waves for the remainder of the encounter.
