wow... that is 1 unique cow it has: Feed.... in other words it eat's other pets, not grass so beware when milking, bet the milk is blood red due to it's unusual diet ☺

The Pygmy Cow is attainable once you build a Barn on your Garrison AND upgrade it to level 3.

Note: To acquire the Barn, Level 3 you will need to complete the Master Trapper achievement.

Once you build a level 1 Barn, you will unlock the daily work orders similar to the farm in MoP.

Each work order will take 4 hours to complete but you can queue up around 36 work orders per day with a level 3 Storehouse.

Finally not-in-game-shop pet with strong healing spell (you not need real money to obtain this cow). Its Mother's Milk have the same mechanic and the same power like Alterac Brew-Pup's The Good Stuff. Really good use in Celestial tournament for healing wounded pets.

For the alliance, the Glass of Warm Milk can be located either upstairs in the level 3 barn or downstairs. If you can't reach it when it's upstairs, leave your garrison and try again later and it will eventually be downstairs amongst the other mugs on the shelf.

Although Wowhead lists this pet's breed as being solely B/B I just received a H/P breed. Not sure if it's available in all the breeds but there is some variety, which might be good news to some.

I used Aviana's Feather to shoot up into the sky and then glide to the top floor of the barn.

if you don't have aviana's feather, or are not an engineer for the other 2 items,
simply get a mage to slowfall when you're on top of the cliff before you jump

p.s. tried to get my barnless friend this companion by moving my barn several times, but the warm glass of milk simply would not respawn.
went to my pet journal to try & cage it to see if that would help respawn, didn't seem to work :[

You can just jump over the fence from inside the adjacent stall... no need for tricks, engineering, wings, etc... Easy & Free.

edit: did they move it? I found my glass inside the stall on the bottom floor...

Attention Horde Hunters!

We can do this without help from special items or having a friend slow-fall us!

Simply climb the hill behind your barn, the one covered in gobby workers. Face away from the barn, and disengage onto the roof. If you land on the lower section, that's okay. Walk to the end of the roof that is closest to the platform. Stand on the tip of the spike on the corner of the roof. Face away from the balcony and angle your back toward the corner of the balcony ledge. Disengage, and if angled properly, you should land on it. Voila!

Obviously, the strategy depends somewhat on where you have our barn placed but once you get on the top it's the same. My barn is in the closest spot to my Great Hall, just to the right and a little down if you are looking at your garrison map. As a hunter I was able to get up on the overhang next to my barn by going up the cliff behind my barn on the right. From there I used Disengage from the very edge of the overhang to the closest corner of the barn and get on top of the barn. From there I got out onto the big horn on the front of the barn and from there I was able to basically just drop down onto the ledge. Not too difficult once you get on top of the barn.

Following a post by Nagratz under the Glass of Warm Milk entry, I managed to levitate off the cliff onto the barn roof, turn off levitate, SLOW WALK to the front corner of the barn, turn 90 degrees and drop down onto the ledge leading to the 2nd floor.

(Horde) Climbed up on wall/cliff behind barn then used glider to land on the roof. From there, CAREFULLY get onto the jutting... horn?... sticking out on the side of the roof. Face the second floor balcony and drop down. The cup is on the little shelf- it doesn't sparkle so its easy to miss.

For any Horde with level 3 Garrison and lacking an Inn for feather or any cheese mechanic like a parachute/glider/slowfall/disengage/etc.

Put the Barn on the adjacent spot next to your Great Hall.
Head to the Western opening of your Garrison. (31,53)
Climb your way up the cracks of the rocks to your left.
Waddle on up to about (54,74.)
Hop down to the nearest wall tower. (54,66)
Bounce right on over to the top of your barn.
The last part's where it gets a little tricky. Toggling walk might help or Jeff Gordon-ing your S key - Walk backwards. Shimmy onto one of those smaller curved horns to the right or left.
Wiggle your way down onto that shelf and BAM, you're done!

Hello, I said this pet is in our block at level 3, the trouble is that the object, Glass of Warm Milk usually on the top floor is best in each logeo wait is displayed at the ground floor you leave video of where it is.

Not sure if this is a new feature, but as of today logging off, then back in 5 mins later, reset the glass's position from the loft to the shelf on the first floor. A bit easier than all the (creative) methods of getting it from the loft...

Having only 2 barns myself, I thought if i joined a friend's group to enter his garrison, i could loot his glass of warm milk.

I was unable to. I guess I need to build a third barn after all.

Easy to get for Horde players, solo, without any tricky jumps, movement abilities like Disengage, or goblin gliders.

Place the level 3 barn at the large plot closest to your town hall. Mount up, leave your garrison out the west gate, turn left and climb up the mountain, go all the way up until you're above the barn. LEAP and land on the roof, then carefully walk/jump off the edge to land on the second-floor balcony.

I used an XD-57 "Bullseye" Guided Rocket Kit from my Gearworks building in my garrison. Flew right in the door/window of the second story. Got my glass of milk and my pygmy cow pet. Worked like a charm!

Easiest way to loot the glass of warm milk: at the garrison Architect Table, swap the Barn's position with that of any other medium building and search the ground floor. There is no resource cost to do this. Repeat until the milk spawns on the ground floor. See hordegasm's post on the wowhead listing for glass of warm milk for details.

Just got my three from building three Barns on three different characters, named them Hereamoo, Thereamoo, Everywhereamoomoo, pretty easy now that you can fly in Draenor, to get up to the hay loft.

Because I had no idea and now I'm curious.

Oh, and if you're Horde, take a look for a tiny grey stein in the inaccessible pen on the ground level. That's where it was for me.
