Taralune is a Grand Master Pet Trainer in Talador, near Auchindoun on the southern end.

She has 3 Moths:

Serendipity
Grace
Atonement

Who are a cinch to beat if you just pick Magic based pets who have strong against flying moves like Arcane Storm, Arcane Blast or Ooze Touch

Taralune offers a moderate challenge if you have lowbie pet in your team for leveling purposes or if you are going for An Awfully Big Adventure. For the achievement you don't actually have to use the Elekk Plushie, it can just hang around in team without ever participating the battle, but not against Taralune. Beating her with two level 25 pets can be annoying but far from impossible. Many two pet combinations can handle her and I've included two of them below (setup A is probably a bit more reliable one, but with Setup B your carry pet doesn't take any damage):

Setup A:

Rascal-Bot with

and Nexus Whelpling (#4 P/P but other breeds should work too) with

Lowbie requirements: 800 HP (900 if the pet is an Aquatic or 1,100 if the pet is a Flying)

The course of the battle:

Start with Elekk Plushie or your lowbie. Your lowbie needs to have enough HP (800+ or less with Mech pet) to soak the first three abilities from Serendipity which are Counterspell, Cocoon Strike and Feedback. This is because the moth's high speed combined with Counterspell and Cocoon Strike makes it hard to land hits until the Flying racial gets deactivated.
Swap to Rascal Bot to soak Counterspell (and to get Immunity for the next one!) and then cast Lens Flare.
Serenpidity will have -50% hit chance for two rounds during which it will cast first Cocoon Strike and then Counterspell. You need to land Phaser three times which will kill the first moth. DON'T use the Lens Flare on Serenpidity for the second time.
When Grace enters, first cast Lens Flare.
Again three Phaser hits will snuff out Grace and depending on your luck with Lens Flare, your Rascal Bot will might be dead or still going strong to face the third moth.
If your Bot is still alive, start again with Lens Flare and work your way with Phaser until either Bot or Atonement dies.
If your Rascal Bot died against Grace, your Nexus Whelpling shouldn't have much problems finishing off whatever is still standing with Mana Surge when Arcane Storm is up.

The end result can vary a LOT because of Lens Flare, but usually it favors the player and I've even managed to kill each moth with Rascal Bot alone. Armageddon isn't really needed but you can drop it if you choose so, for instance when Bot is about to die.

Setup B

If you lack the Rascal Bot, you can also use the following:

Chrominius with

Arcane Explosion
Ancient Blessing
(the last ability is indifferent)

and Nexus Whelpling (#4 P/P but other breeds should work too) with

Lowbie requirements: None

The course of the battle:

Start with Chrominius. Your first action is irrelevant as Serendipity will interrupt it with Counterspell.
In the secound round, the moth continues to annoy you with Cocoon Strike, so answer it by casting Arcane Explosion to break the cocoon and to cleave the other flyers. Next cast Ancient Blessing to heal up a bit as Feedback will hit your pet on the next round.
Drop two Arcane Explosions to the enemy team. During the AE first your pet is hit by another Counterspell, but your Resilient negates the interrupt and during the second AE, another Feedback hits your dragonkin.
It is very crucial to pass on the next turn. Serenpidity will cast another Cocoon Strike during this round. The reason to pass the round is that you'll next move will be another Ancient Blessing. If you had attacked (and had thus broken the cocoon), you wouldn't have been able to land the heal because the moth will cast Counterspell again. As the cocoon is still intact, your heal lands first and the interrupt gets pretty much wasted.
Cast two Arcane Explosions more, in return you are hit by two Feedbacks. If all has gone well, your pet is at very low HP at this point.
Chrominius will die to a Counterspell on the next round no matter what you try to cast. Having your first dragon dead, bring in your lowbie or elekk and immediately swap the Nexus Whelpling to the fray. A Cocoon Strike should hit your whelp when it enters.
Your whelpling's first cast is Arcane Storm while Serenpidity casts Feedback once more (it will negate nicely the interrupt effect from Counterspell).
Now comes the fun part! Having Arcane Winds up, you are free to cast Mana Surge which scores a hatrick. The first hit will finish off Serenpidity.
Grace will cast Call Lightning which hurts but changes nothing: the second Mana Surge hits snuffs out the moth as it's already weakened by several Arcane Explosion hits and the Arcane Storm hit.
Likewise, the third Mana Surge hit will disintegrate the already weakened Atonement into a pile of ashes.

This tactic is rather reliable one, but one bad critical hit before the step 6 might mess up the whole try. Not only it shuffles the course of the battle, but it also means less damage to the other moths and thus Mana Surge hits might not oneshot them. Nevertheless, it's still very solid tactic in overall.

I was able to easily 2 man this with Lil' Tarecgosa and Sprite Darter Hatchling (the easily obtainable nether faerie dragon has the same skills sets). I waited until the last pet to switch out for one round for my leveling pet then switched back to one of my dragons. Had plenty of health left and was no struggle two-manning this unlike some of the other master pet tamers.

I just countered this NPC with all mechanicals. Lil XT, Darkmoon Zep, and the Darkmoon tonk. Once I figured out which spells they use in order it was easy to figure out and beat.

I found the easiest strategy was to start with a Clockwork gnome. As long as you keep building turrets, repair on cooldown, and fill in with metal fist, he will take out the first one easily (wasting the cocoons with the first turret shot so that the rest hit) and die to the second. Once the enemy team casts lightning storm, it will effectively double the power of the turrets, giving you plenty of opportunity to swap in a lowbie pet and finish off the battle with another pet of your choice.

for thoes just getting into Petbattleing, and If you have just a basic stable, Clockwork Rocket bot (blue) is a good choice, the 2 step launch rocket is a nice way to get around the coccooning, Toxic smoke is a good way to keep damage ticking onto her, and missle for thoes times when you can.

Secont pet I use is a Mountain Cottontail, (Stampeed tricks the weather into hitting repetedly) but any pet with a reliable multiple hit is good

After that my third varies, Mechanical pet Dragonling is decent but can take hits if the storm is still up, but usualy any magic pet seems to be good for the third slot, or generaly any most pets that are blue and only need 1 -2 levels

Nether Faerie Dragon or Sprite Darter Hatchling (2,1,1) speed breed even though I'm not sure it matters.

1. Arcane Explosion, will get blocked
2. Arcane Explosion to break Cocoon
3. Ancient Blessing to heal up for the big hit
4. Arcane Explosion x2 for AoE damage
5. Pass so you don't break the cocoon
6. Ancient Blessing again to live longer
7. Surge of Power to finish off the moth

Chrominius will die to lightning storm, but thats fine, he soaked it for us.

swap to carry pet, then instantly switch to Nether Faerie Dragon

vs Grace

1. Moonfire to counter the lightning
2. Arcane Blast x1-2 to finish it (dragon buff its usually once)

vs Atonement

1. Arcane Blast (if you gain dragon buff again this one wrecks him)
2. Moonfire

Tested 7-8 Times without fail, unless you have horrible rng.

After the first try I could finish them all with these two:

Chrominius: Arcane Explosion, Howl, Surge of Power (in that order with the first pet, otherwise your Surge will be blocked).
Emerald Proto Whelp: Emerald Bite (use constantly untill you've lost 505 health, then use Ancient Blessing. Spam Bite, use Blessing as often as possible)
In the third slot I had Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling with Breath, Bombing Run and Decoy but I didn't need it.

Clockwork Gnome with Build Turret + Repair is ridiculously effective on this team because the damage will keep going when you're interrupted and while you heal for multiple rounds. And Chrominius does work well as the first pet because even though it seems like he's losing, Arcane Blast whittles down the enemy team to where your other pets will easily mop up.

All 6 Draenor Master Tamers can be beaten with only a Sprite Darter Hatchling, Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling and a carry pet.

If you follow the order listed, you can carry a single pet from lvl 1 to lvl 25 every day through the Master Tamers and all it takes are those same 2 pets for every fight.

This fight is really easy if you have Emerald proto whelp (destruction). This might be slow, but you can kill all 3 flying pets with a single dragon.

Serendepity was chewing up any pet i started with so i found Sunreaver Micro-Sentry in my lineup and easily killed first two pets and was able to clean up with Nether Faerie Dragon and a carry pet.

Simple 2 pet strategy (the above guide without all the waffle)
You will need:

Chrominius
Arcane Explosion Ancient Blessing Surge of Power

Nexus Whelpling
Arcane Storm Mana Surge

1) Start with Chrominius
2) Use Arcane Explosion (yes it will get counterspelled)
3) Arcane Explosion
4) Ancient Blessing
5) Arcane Explosion
6) Arcane Explosion
7) Pass turn
8) Ancient Blessing
9) Arcane Explosion
10) Arcane Explosion
11) Surge of Power (Chrominius will die before casting it unless you get a very lucky miss, don't worry)
12) Switch to carry then to Nexus Whelpling immediately
13) Arcane Storm
14) Mana Surge

With three flying animals, what you want at the front of your troupe is the Nordrassil Wisp. After that I put in Magical Slimes.

The first thing her moth will do is Stun, then a Block. Kick off with Arcane Explosion until the Block is over, which is strong against all three and makes a mess of the back line. Then go to our old favourites "Flash" and "Light". This leaves you with more Arcane Explosions. Rinse and Repeat.

Miss chances are 50-50, but if you do good you can get past Grace with the Blind attacks.

The Slimes will finish the job the Wisp started with a bit of all three Magic attacks.

Grace will cast Thunderstorm, which tends to make the fight very easy for YOU, not Taralune.

I used:
Clockwork Gnome - (Metal Fist], Repair, Build Turret)
Arcane Eye - (Focused Beams, Eyeblast, Mana Surge)
Lowlevel pet

If you are going to lvl your lowlvlpet, take it out when Taralune takes out her 3 pet. (Since that pet wont hit on the first round its out) and swap back till Arcane Eye again to finish it off. Or if you are going to take a Elekk with you, just leave it without swaping.

Start off with Clockwork Gnome and go for Build Turret, hit Repair after that.
Do Build Turret again and try to keep those upp all the time.
Do Metal Fist in between, you should kill this pet easly.
2 pet Taralune takes out will do Call lightning
This ability will work in a benefit for our Turret and backhit Taralune's pet.
If youre lucky, you will end upp killing the 2 with almost only youre Turret
And just do Metal Fist in between
Depending on the crits from the flying pets, the Gnome can die here but its not for sure!
If hes still alive, try to have Build Turret upp all the time and hit Metal Fist.
If hes dead, take out youre Arcane Eye and use Mana Surge (wich i freeeaking love btw) This ability hits for 3 round, and the 3 pet will die.

I have to say that this pet team work just geat for me anyway. Have to love the Turret combo with the lightning and Mana Surge massives hits on the flying pets.

A P/P Emerald proto whelp with Emerald Bite, Emerald Presence and Emerald Dream (to use around half HP) will gnaw up all the enemy's pets. You can bring Chrominus to kill the 1st pet (with the strategy posted by Tritox and Ofire) and a leveling pet

Emerald Proto Whelp is the Ultimate Flying Killer, expecially when said flying pets use call Lightning and Emerald Presence makes you immune to it

My 2 cents

Nordrasil Wisp (2,1,2)
Oily Slimeling (1,1,1)
Mini Mindslayer ( 2,2,2)

Wisp starts. Use 2x Aracne explosion (the first will be counterspelled) the second one will be blocked (but the 2 in the back will be hit)
then go with Flash and then Light, then one or two arcane explosions and the first one is down.

second pet comes and your second pet will too choose Slimeling

Grace will cast lightning Weather and you should go with corrosion -> Expunge most likley to kill the second pet and leaving you with halfish hp
next pet comes go corrosion again and ooze touch if you survived

third pet comes and you can use mana surge witch will most likley kill it =)

For the 2 pets I went with Clockwork Gnome and Lil'Tarecgosa

Turret every CD, Metal Fist otherwise until death
Arcane Winds, Arcane Blast until Surge of Power can finish it off

I just two-manned this group with a Arcane Eye and Pandaren Water Spirit.

Used Water jet first to soak the silence, then Geyser/Whirlpool combination and continue water jetting until win.

Used arcane eye once the water spirit died. Mana surge until it was done, drain power and focus beams on the last two pets.

Never have I seen my arcane eye so useful! Didn't even have to use Chrominius!

Really easy fight with a sprite darter/ fairy dragon this is my strat for the awfully big adventure.

put the plush in first to eat the stun (I actually just let my sprite go first and it still worked for me)
put your sprite darter in, arcane blast to get rid of the cocoon, then storm then blast til its dead.

new pet comes in use life exchange (it will get pretty low here, havent had it die though) mash arcane blast til its dead.

refresh arcane storm as needed and use life exchange if it comes back up again.

I have yuolon as a back up with life exchange and breath and the shell thing. could probably just use any dragon/ magic pet in place of yulon like I said it's just a back up for me, never had to use.
