Just found this guy in a tunnel behind a cell in Tol Dagor. Not sure if it's related to anything. Gave us all a debuff called "Spray Filth" a disease with 30 minute timer that says "You smell bad...".
Spawned after clicking an object called "Filthy Bucket".

Probably a reference to the Golgothan from the Kevin Smith movie Dogma.

The Golgothan was a demon composed of human excrement. It was a slime monster that came from a toilet (and in a medieval prison, a bucket might suffice instead) and attacked by spraying filth.

According to the pet journal, Gol'than drops the battle pet Filthy Slime Filthy Slime, which has the move Sewage Eruption Sewage Eruption, further reinforcing the connection.

It's... a pretty gross monster.

Zolsten's original comment helped me find it, but I decided to create my own, to help anyone else who may be running around for 10 straight minutes, unable to find the correct cell.

The floor beneath Jess Howliss's area, there are two cells next to the doorway that goes up. The second one from the left will have a hole in the back that leads to a sewer tunnel, which takes you straight to the bucket. Clicking the bucket will spawn Gol'than. He spits out a lot of acid and puts a 30 minute debuff on you that has no negative side effects. It just says you smell bad :)

You have to have a rogue, or someone that can pick locks. We had a blacksmith with us, who I'm very grateful for (No one in my group knew I was dragging them there for the possibility of a pet, and he was kind enough to make a bunch of keys to open every cell until we found the correct one.).

The pet is not a 100% drop chance. No one in my group got it. So, looks like we have to keep trying. Good luck, everyone!

Do you need all 5 group members to click, I tried with 3 and he didn't spawn.

Also worth noting that more than 1 pet can drop. In my group 2 out of 5 got it.

Getting the Filthy Slime pet is easier than you may think!

To begin with, ~~you need 5 people~~ (EDIT: As of 8.3.7 it's soloable) in order to summon the rare. After assembling your group this is what you need to do :

Enter Tol Dagor on Mythic difficulty and kill first boss. You can avoid most of the trash by just going left and around them until you reach the boss.
Clean trash in the "Drain" (ground floor/sewer) until you reach "The Brig" (1st floor)
On your way there look for a key https://imgur.com/a/Duo0aGD (they spawn on multiple random locations and are easy to miss.)
Possible locations for the keys are :

- https://imgur.com/a/UM8lonY
- Upon reaching the cell I marked on the second image above, you just open it using the key you have found.
- Lastly you enter the cell, go through the hole on the wall and arrive at a room with a bucket. Click on it and the Gol'than the Malodorous will be summoned. He is pretty easy to kill on a five man group around 340ilvl

Some general observations :

The drop chance cannot be determined yet but as far as my experience goes, in 10 runs everyone got it (it includes trading with each other).

It is not a guarantee drop. You may kill it and noone gets it.

It can drop more than once per person.

It can drop to multiple people at once.

It's personal loot but Filthy Bucket can be traded with the other party members.

The pet is cageable and can be bought/sold on the Auction House.

The key ( Discarded Cell Key ) looks like this in your bags : https://imgur.com/a/KIqxkOq ( It says it lasts one day, but as soon as someone unlocks the cell, all party members' keys disappear from bag). You just have to loot a new one every time you enter the instance.

I have tried this twice now on M0 and M+2. Both times clicking the bucket did nothing. Both times was after the final boss was already dead. Is the lack of a spawn because the last boss was already killed or is it a rare spawn that only pops occasionally when u click the filthy bucket?

To those of you pet farmers, this is solo able. I am doing it on my blood dk ilvl 439, but Im sure there are plenty of classes that can. You have to kill the first boss of course, trash up to the cell (find a key along the way) and you can click the bucket and kill him. I just log out and come back some time later. Trash is respawned, as well as the bucket and can try again. Ive done it 4 times with no pet, will update when it drops to confirm. The bucket will not spawn Gol'than if you kill Jess (Ill assume the "prisoner" escapes once the jailer is dead)

Strangely, from about july 25th till now, I haven't been able to find the bucket that spawns this rare. I've gone into the dungeon regularly since then, and the location that the bucket should spawn in is completely empty. Could be a me problem or they could've removed it from the game, seems like an odd decision if they have though.
