hmmm I really must try arena one day...just need someone to make a team with...
From blizzards perspective i understand why they do this. Guess they want to remove the need everyone have for 2v2.As an arenaentusiast, I will hate this change as much as anyone can hate anything. If i understood this right, they just change the need for everyone to have a 2v2, to everyone having a 5v5 for maximum points. A real shame in my opinion.
Noes Shaz, doing 5v5 wont become Overpowered and enable noobs to get high rating because :1. noobs have a hard time getting 5 man.2. its getting scaled equally to the 2v2 rating increase/decrease.(foreign)
I love this site, but I'm curious as to the direction of the blog lately. So many posts are just re-hashes of official posts and updates, without any input from the author about what they think of the change. Are you guys trying to become an mmo-champion type site, listing all the changes coming? If so, it's not really timely or comprehensive enough. If you guys are trying to just stir up some conversation between users, why aren't these just posts in the forums?I guess my preference would be...if you're posting about it in the blog, TALK about it! Talk about what you think are the pros and cons and let the comments be for discussing whether or not we agree.
I don't feel like we're spamming you with links. There are ten blogs on the front page—3 of them are official Blizzard Updates (and one of them was for the SC2 Beta, and damn right we're going to let everybody know about that). Out of the rest of the stuff, at the time of this writing, there's a story about Swine Flu, an opinion piece about in-game casinos, an announcement about the new updater that MMOUI has in the works, a comic, a podcast interview we did, an editorial about the lore behind Death Knights and Paladins, the Blizzcon ticket sales announcement, and the Weekly Review.A lot of the time Blizzard actually contacts me directly and ASKS me to post a link to their latest announcement, as was the case this week with the Blizzcon tickets etc. Most people just kinda seem to miss the announcements they post in their forums. =/
ok.... so what stops the 2v2 teams from continuing their steamrolling towards 2350?
So whatever happened to the 70 pvp weapons? or 80 Deadly Weapons (Arena)? I've seen the 70 Brutal weapons, but all below that (Veng, Merc, etc...) have disappeared. Why get rid of those and keep the 60 pvp gear or below?
ahahahahaha....so what the hell? 2350? mb they wanna nerf RMP setup? coz I think I'll see more rogues, mages and priests with 239ilvl weapons then others... T_T and about 2350 in 2vs2....damn they wanna balance? I'm enjoy my Retri pally in PvP, I'm holy in PvE. and I'm playing with frost mage 2vs2 with this change they will just push more in holy pally/dk setup.
