I am sorry but its about time that our CD codes can be tracked. I have lost the ability to play well over 5-6 games, simply because I lost these tiny pieces of paper that have codes that are longer than War and Peace with weird number and letter combos. That is about, 300 bucks down the drain- so call it QQing if you will but I am glad that Blizz is trying to make our ives easier and at the same time protecting their products. Its a win- win- and I am glad that they are doing it.
I personally love the new features.EDIT: Removed the stupid out of the post.
I won't be merging my WoW account with anything until forced to do so. Less passwords? Oh, please. A single password could be used for years, but it must be a very strong password. Most people don't use strong passwords because they find them hard to remember. So write the password down and put it in your wallet.Honestly, all of this here ^^Making a strong password is not difficult, and once you've typed it enough times, it becomes second nature. My passes are 16 characters full of letters/capital letters and numbers that do NOT include my name/birthday/etc. I've never felt threatened at all when it comes to my pass.
i dont like it, i dont really like my WOW acct name, and dont want it to be my screene name for all my blizzard stuff
i believe that your warcraft acct name will be changed to the new battlenet acct name
The original Euro WoW account management login page now shows a battle.net login page instead. Of course, since I've not been able to attach my WoW accounts to my battle.net account yet (since it wasn't even possible), I couldn't log in.Clicking the manage battle.net account link to attach my accounts produced a blank page showing nothing except an xml error... Jeez, blizzard's webrats are really on the ball when it comes to testing their stuff before rolling it out live. You'd think it was some 2-bit free service they were offering with the "reliability" shown, instead of something with a monthly subscription attached... :/
can some one link the eu battle net addres , sinc i cant find it :(
i actually had an issue with battle.net, about a week before they announced it on the wow home page, i went to add a game card and it would NOT let me log into the site without a battle.net name, i made sure the website was secure and everything, and reluctantly signed up for it so i could add my time card, week later i saw on the wow home page they were announcing it and that its completely optional at this time, so i emailed them and they gave me a number to call saying they could unmerge my acount form battle.net there (my email is very long so i wanted to put it off as long as i could, and having it remeber my name doesnt work cuz i use my boyfriends acounts a lot) so i called the number, listened to the recording of the female gnome voice tleling me what numbers to press (/facepalm), got a perosn on the phone where they told me that couldnt have been the case because battle.net was never set up like that and it shoudl have just let me log in with my regular info, and was also suprised i had been able to sign up for it before they announced it, infromed me theyd "look into it" (why cnat they just say do nothing?) and told me they cant unmerge it because they want to eventually make all acounts merge with battle.net, so im hoping they realese some really really cool features to make up for all the annoyance
