It's almost like they're trying to bring their standards up to Wowhead.
This is awesome =DI'm looking forward to a lot of this stuff. The new tracking and BG Queue... The Equipment manager would be cool, but I'm a Rogue DPS, so I don't needa change armor that much =P
The BG queues, dual speccing and improved LFG are what I'm looking forward too. I was looking forward to the Equipment manager until I found out it takes the gear from bags or bank. =\\I was hoping Blizz would take pity on full bags and banks by making some separate closet-type thing to hold your gear in.I hope they make a tabard rack or something. I like tabards and collecting them but I don't really have the space to hold on to all the suckers.
Does anybody on the PTR have any details on how the quest tracking in the tooltip is implemented? One concern people have is that it'll take away from the game by telling you which mobs to kill. It would be nice if the tooltip did not show this information until the first mob was killed. so "Scarlet Crusader killed for 0/10" would never show up, only "Scarlet Crusader killed for 1/10" and onwards. In my opinion this should be customizable, otherwise people will still install QuestHelper or a related addon. I do like the "Use relevant quest items directly from the game UI, without searching through your bags (really excited about this one)" feature, however I feel that this should be optional as well.
I was hoping Blizz would take pity on full bags and banks by making some separate closet-type thing to hold your gear in..The problem with this is that it would increase the database footprint for each user. 30,000 accounts per server with 5 toons each (guestimated average) with 80 bag slots each makes for 12,000,000 items to store along with everything in the "pet" and "currency" windows. It's a trade-off, we want more bag space, but we also want better performance. In this case Blizz started with a way to manage our gear, maybe later they'll let us drag around a donkey to carry all this crap.
Basically you equip a set of gear, save a snapshot of it, and then bind it to a hotkey (or possibly an action bar icon?)I can confirm that you can drag outfits to the hotbar. They look just like macros; there is text on the bottom of the icon indicating the set's name.
I can now search for whatever role I want for my group? Holy Shock!
I can now search for whatever role I want for my group? Holy Shock!Agreed. Now we don't gotta Whisper 'em asking what Spec they are =P
i definiatly like the bg que thing, now we just need it to work with wintergrasp as well
I can now search for whatever role I want for my group? Holy Shock!Agreed. Now we don't gotta Whisper 'em asking what Spec they are =PThat won't change a thing unless it's required to select to join. People can type what there roll is in the notes now but they don't.
Thats what i used the Note feature for :P
I love it!The Gear Manager is almost exactly like Outfitter, so many of us won't need to readjust big time. And I'd love being able to just fish, queue for a BG, kick some arse, and then go back to fishing. Peacefully. Not wasting time.
The role will probably be optional since the induction of dual specs will coincide with the LFG pane changes. On another note, awesome...more crap to put on the toolbars!
Would be great if you could select more than one option in LFG for dps/tank/heals. Irrelevant for lvl 80 but helpful when leveling.
Thats what i used the Note feature for :PSame. But a lot of tanks and healers don't, so I have to Whisper them asking.
Call me cynical, but I foresee patch day as being recounted as "the day of the ninja."
Good Job Blizz keep it going :)
Looking forward to it, but also dread managing my addons through it ><
You can now queue up for any Battleground from anywhere in the game world. When the match is over you're teleported back to the location you were when you entered the Battleground.OMG... I-... :')Best change ever. I'd give up dual spec, I'd give up 30 min hearth... for this :O.(dual spec is still slick tho)No more flying to major cities... And I can count the times that I've actually been able to Queue, then accomplish something during the queue. on one hand. In fact, I can count it on zero hands. :D
I saw this on the World of Warcraft site, it looks awsome, but now I dread having to fight for DPS AND Tank gear with the other players. It's a pain being a noob QQ
