I will be exalted with all 5 later this week so i will keep this post updated as to wether you can actually continue the valiants quests afterwards. On another note, This is a very well written guide for those who want to know about the tournament.
This post was from a user who has deleted their account.
Like many others, I am also waiting on someone to report what happens after you are a champion for all 5 factions. I have the seals for my last faction, but I don't want to turn them in if I won't be able to do the dailies anymore.
awesome, I just got myself that Exalted Argent Champion of the Horde, it comes with a title reward of "Crusader" which is quite nice to be worn with Scarlet Crusade's tabard imo :PI didn't do The Grand Melee -quest the day when I became champion with the last faction, after becoming champion with it, the daily was unavailable so I quess you can't do the valiant-dailies if you finish the quest to become a champion but I don't really care since I got that awesome title + I have lots of alts at high lvl so I can farm the quests for money with them, just need to ignore the quest to go from valiant to champion while doing so :)
Yeah, I just Exalted-Championed all five factions as well. If you have any of the daily quests still in your quest log after completing your last 'The Valiant's Challenge' quest, you can still complete them and you'll get useless Valiant's Seal and the money. However, if you abandon the quests you will not be able to retake them, and no other NPC in the building will offer you quests. If you completed the quests prior to turning in 'The Valiant's Challenge,' that's it. You're basically completely done with the free, easy money of the Valiant Argent dailies. You can, of course, still complete the Champion quests for Champion's Seal and whatnot.(Oh and before anyone comments, the my buff addon is screwing up and I'm in the process of switching for a different one. :P)
I have been doing the dailies from the introudction of the Argent Tournment when 3.1 was released and I turned in the final Valiants challenge 2 days ago i think it was and i'm glad i did it. All the to and fro' ing of the Weapons quest added extra time to the net time it took me to compelte all the quests not to mention having to duel 7 times rather than 4.Now that i only have the champions dailies to do i can get it done in around 20 minutes and since i made my money off nobles cards and books of glyph mastery i don't need the cash.I guess what im trying to say is i thiink its great not having to do the valiants quests anymore after u have done the fifth faction. It certainly gives a nice title and cuts some time off.
it's a good place to farm some golds and do some dailys
ach i want play wow...but must make graduation..lol I start play again on my new notebook canon :D i think very good NOTEBOOK :D HP Pavilion dv7 1140 :D
With Patch 3.1.2 the price of the Argent Hippogryph is being lowered from 250 Champion's Seals to a much more reasonable 150 Champion's Seals. This should make the grind for this mount much easier now. Also, with 3.1.2, all of the ground mounts will recieve new textures (or colour swaps if that's what you want to call them). This also means that if you purchase a ground mount now, with the new patch, the mount will change to the newer version automatically. The old mounts will then become avaliable for 5 Champion's Seals and 500 Gold.It will now take 30 days to get the Argent Hippogryph, down from the insane 50 days. It will still take a while, but if you're like me and have been doing the tournament for some time, you should be very close to the 150 Seals. I'm only 5 days away, and would probably be on target if I hadn't missed a few days out. Prepare to see some on your server after the next patch much sooner than expected.EDIT: I just logged on today to check out the new mounts, and faction discounts apply to the old mounts, so it will be 400 Gold and 5 Champion's Seals at Exalted with the faction's mount. Also, with the new patch, the Champion's Purse you get from doing Champion dailies can award Champion's Seals if you're lucky enough!
I'm so excited the flyer is only 150 now, I was planning on saving for it. I already have the crusader title and I think i have at least 140 seals. Only a couple more days! =)
I find a better tactic is to:
Can alliances get horde mounts? If so, how?
