They have actually nerfed Balance:S Thats just crazy! They are bad enough in pvp as it is....
They nerfed affli warlocks! Again! Siphon Life was an awesome DoT and now they've ruined it!Hardly, yes the damage on this got reduced, but the utility increased and it simplifies rotations, and you have to look at in combination with other changes. Eradication is a nice buff, you get points in pandemic freed up, and a nice buff with suppression, or the ability to swap in damage gems for hit on your gear. The bigger issue is whether or not to drop immolate from your rotations, or to try to get to aftermath in destruction to make it useful.
But, but, but... New druid shapeshifty-skins :(?
1k gold...way to go Blizzard..they say they wanna remove some gold from the gameall they are doing is promote even more goldfarmering. When will they realize that high prized mounts, talents etc. only spawns more gold traffic.
LOL look at the warrior stuff, I know we'll be getting more changes but come on, seriously.
Big new feature !Dungeon map are directly in game
Nearly no change for mages.......Strange,but on MMO-champion is stated:"Mage Armor has been increased to allow 50% of your mana regneration to continue while casting.""Arcane Meditation (Tier 4) Allows 17/33/50% of your mana regeneration to continue while casting. ""Pyromaniac (Tier 7) now allows 17/33/50% of your mana regeneration to continue while casting. "but here is no word about it.
We're too low on demage in raids and partys as it is!If nothing else will be added to make Beast Mastery hunters stronger (and no, dual-spec doesn't count here) - then there's no difference now between a BM-Hunter and a naked gnome with a pretty pet. This is one annoyed and super-duper angry BM hunter.Umm where have you been? A cave? BM hunters do 3-5k dps always no matter what. A full blue BM hunter can toss out close to 3k dps while a full blue "other" dps can't do half that sometimes. I just did 25 man Thad and watched a BM hunter pull 7.5k dps as I wad doing about 6.2k as ele shaman (and that's with me seeing 25k lava burst crits)So whine a little more?
Thank you for saying what I was thinking--Howling Blast was the best finishing move ever for raids and instances when tanking, and it pulled all the aggro too. I spec'd my DK to stop before reaching the 51 talents, so now I have to respec to get it? And wait another 10 levels? C'mon Blizzard, this is terrible.
Anyone who knows if the bug with the Mammoth and the Hog will be fixed?I mean the Crusader Aura doesnt stack at this time, so anyone knows if it gonna be fixed this patch?
Ah yeah! can't wait to try it out!
1k gold...way to go Blizzard..they say they wanna remove some gold from the gameall they are doing is promote even more goldfarmering. When will they realize that high prized mounts, talents etc. only spawns more gold traffic.Honestly if you have to pay real cash money to get anything in the game that's sad. If you really think about it, what do you think the ratio is? 1 out of 1000 might buy gold? If all 1k buy this thats 1000000 gold removed from the game while only 1000 gold was sold to a random person for what 200-400 US dollars?
Overall a great patch. A lot of changes to most classes - some good some bad - but thats certainly not the highlights! Can't wait to try it out ^^
Bloodlust/Heroism: Cooldown reduced to 5 minutes, but Sated and Exhausted now last 10 minutes.I was excited when I saw 5 minute timer on Bloodlust for about 2 minutes. I then read on and saw Salted was on a 10 minute timer. Appreciate another Nerf how about you just do another 180degree turn and keep it where its at.
For the Rogue changes, I am still not happy about it. I might aswell go find some good combat weapons already. I don't know how I'll work the haste buff into my spec otherwise, and HfB seems horrible (compared to what it waas) now.Bloodlust/Heroism: Cooldown reduced to 5 minutes, but Sated and Exhausted now last 10 minutes.I was excited when I saw 5 minute timer on Bloodlust for about 2 minutes. Appreciate another Nerf how about you just do another 180degree turn and keep it where its at.Regarding this, I don't think it's a "nerf to Shamans." It has no impact on a Shaman in a group, other than being able to use Heroism more often in say, a Battleground? I think the change is made to keep in line with the new policy of not requiring a certain number of class X or Y in a raid, since many fights last longer than 5 minutes.
I'm SO! happy exorcism to all the mobs ! :D
OkI see a huge amount of QQ regarding various classes talents or people saying "<class> used to be one of the best at <role> why are we being made more and more crap" and to those people i have this to say toIf you chose a class at a certain time because it was perceived to be the best at tanking/DPS/Healing and are complaining now that iit is no longer the best class at Tanking/Healing/DPS then you've missed a lot of the emphasis placed on having seperate classes to begin with.I always thought that the reason a person chose a particular class should have been decided on whether the person liked the traits that made that class unique (blink, teleport | water walking, totems | soul shards | etc to name a few.If you are always chasing the Best DPS/Tanking/Healing class and are willing to re roll a diffrent class as soon as one gets a 'major nerf' then it begs the question of why you are attracted to WoW in the first place,The class Seperation system is to appeal to people who enjoy diffrent types of DPS/Tanking/HealingIf there was only one type of DPS/Tanking/Healing to begin with then the game would have rapidily degenerated and lost popularity long ago.If you've chosen a class based purely on others perceptions of "Hey this class is the best at DPS/Tanking/Healing" Then you have nobody to blame but yourself and not Blizzard because times change and not a lot besides universal/fundamental mechanics/laws stay the same forever. Stop your QQ and re assess why you play your particular class before you blame blizzard for a perceived 'nerf' of your class and if you are one of the people that just chases the class with the best perceived Tanking/Healing/DPS at a certain time then you will never be happy with your class regardless of the class you play./end wall of textNB: I have been playing the same class for over 3 years (Shaman) and regardless of any changes in DPS/Healing that have occured it has not made me want to switch to a diffrent DPS/Healeing class because i enjoy the uniqueness of Shamanism too much for that.
WTB ~10 new engineering recipes.I think that would put us at about 1/5 of the recipes that every other profession has.
By Sitanel :One thing I find odd with these changes (profession-wise)CookingProspector Khazgorm, found in Bael Modan in southern The Barrens, now sells the recipe for Dig Rat Stew to the Alliance. All well and good for any Alliance player that's trying to get the Chef de Cuisine Achievement.... But what about giving the Horde easy access to the slew of Alliance quest recipes?(I'm probably the only person annoyed by that :P )You're not at all the only person annoyed by that. Blizzard loves the Allience much more than they love the Horde. And here I thought that was called discrimination(!).As a Cheff - I'm repeled by the very conccept of this discrimination.and:WTB ~10 new engineering recipes.I think that would put us at about 1/5 of the recipes that every other profession has.<<Second that motion>>It's not that I don't have anything good to say about this patch - it's just that the things that are wrong (imho) in this patch - are much more pressing than the few compliments I can give Blizzard for their work on this patch. With that said, it does seem like there's alot of work put into this patch (and yet too little work put into making it fair for all classes, talent trees, and proffesions).
But, but, but... New druid shapeshifty-skins :(?Not even a new effect for Power Word: Shield. But yay, at least Power Infusion has a now a new fiery effect. As if we needed that, it was just fine.
