Well.. i dont exactly gear up:pMe and my RL friends who happen to play wow usually make some funnys about the game along with the ocasional x is OP or y sucks at doing z.stuff like that^.^i also read wow comics(teh gladiators, darklegacy and wowhead), oficial forums(both eu and us), arena junkies, eli!@#$t jerks, wowhead and some blogs.
I don't play the TCG I collect them. I have some of the figures and all of the books/comics so far. I have some textile maps on my wall of each continent(EK, Kalimdor, Outland...waiting on northrend). I have some shirts and I think we may get our guild crest put onto shirts eventually. My dad has a tattoo of the alliance crest and of his character in naxx40 gear(warrior). I don't think I'll play anything outside of the MMO but I do like read and look at wow related things.
Nothing else. Only the game itself and community sites. I love reading but there just aren't enough hours in the day to get in-game stuff sorted and live my life as it is. Extra related stuff just complicates things. >.<
Me my brother and a few friends all play the card game the raid decks are realy fun to play plus i got a hippogriph hatchling
I don't have a single item related to WoW or Warcraft outside the actual game World of Warcraft with expansions. Nor do I have any interest in obtaining any such things. Hell, I don't even crave the collectors edition releases of the games that so many obsess about.I play the game, have fun, that's it. The rest... meh, what's the point?
i buy the tcg packs for the loot cards and so i can sometimes play the game at my local card shop
I read the books, which are amazing. I also wanna get a shirt and I want to try out the tcg, but I have no one to play it with so there is no point.
Wow, (lol), can't believe no one has their toon in a glass bubble.I guess if one were to put a price on how much of a "WOW" geek/junkie one is then I might be in the lead.Upon purchasing the Wow laptop a plethora of items came with it including the sculptured figure print, sound track, multiple books, Wow backpack, 2 starter card games, posters, Alliance T-shirt, mouse pad, Dvd, Warcraft gameset, and more. The laptop in itself is awesome, (the fiance has that) but I love my pre-Wotlk T-6 prot warrior the most. The artwork is incredible to say the least. I'd say if anyone is in the market for a high-end laptop check it out.
I have a shirt that says "For the Horde". Pretty much it.
I have scads of the TCG in hopes of loot cards, so far just some slashdance and hummels biscuits. The good bag of Blizzcon 2008 with my favourite inflatable Frostmorne. I also have a couple of the trade paper novels and the RPG core rule book. When I get a bit of spare cash gonna get a a guild shirt. Oh and the CE of all 3 games with 2x on the Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King.
I think I saw one or two people mention it, but I cry a little bit that more people didn't.Behold! The detailing of the action figures to date has been fantastic! I do have a silent wish in my hear that Macfarlane had picked up the contract (Spawn creator, action figure god), but DC Unlimited has done a great job so far. Not to mention the upcoming murloc 2-pk. That's going to be an absolute must have for me.I currently have the Human priest (she's shmexy), and my fiance has the Dranei mage. The Orc shammy is pretty drool worthy if you're the sort of arts person that enjoys high quality action figures. >end rant<
We are closeted WoW fans. We do not discuss our WoW addiction outside of the home.(Although I did buy my husband a Murloco's T-shirt for Winter Veil Christmas)That shirt is win! Mmmrrrggglll
I play (or used to play) the original WoW TCG, but apart from the loot cards, which I get the feeling I've no hope in hell of getting, the expansion packs don't really appeal to me.I've sworn never to get a FigurePrint unless I'm given one as a gift - they're way too expensive for what they really are. And I'm never going to go into the Miniatures Game since Warhammer and the like are better detailed, priced, and you can paint them yourself, meaning the colours are more accurate, even if you aren't great at painting (like myself).Although those steins do look lovely, they're way out of my price boundary for mugs, unfortunately. :(
I'm not into playing the TCG but do collect the cards when I can for the artwork and to see if by chance I could get some of the redemption stuff. (have gotten footsteps of illidan (sp?) and slashdance so far) Have one of the "Murloco Taco" shirts (LOVE IT), the WotLK Collector edition. Want to get a couple of class ones for myself and my husband who also plays. I've looked at the graphic novels and they do look nice but I'm not into them enough to buy just yet. We are also pondering one of the Figureprint statues maybe at Christmas this year.Plushie murloc? Where? I love the murlocs (until they kill me at lower levels). I just want to see a good Gorloc item now.
So that's where the money from 10mill players go to instead of servers with no or almost no downtime and/or lag.... crappy games and t-shirts... yay!/blood-Misa
The WoW Comic are really good. I have bought everyone so far (Once a month I lose 3 bucks, big whoop)The WoW TCG is probably the single greatest TCG on the market right now. Its major flaw would have to be loot cards. I buy the cards to play the TCG. If I happen to bump into a loot card, I put it on eBay. When I did play the WoW MMO, I think I only used one loot card and it was for a Tabard of Flames. The reason i say that the loot cards ruin the TCG is because that is the only reason people tend to buy the pack. I am lucky enough to live a block away from a gaming store and he carried the WoW TCG from Heroes of Azeroth to Drums of War. Me and another guy buy the cards and actually play (Between the two of us, we have probably opened every loot card at least twice) while 7 other guys buy boxes upon boxes of cards just to get the loot. (They even go as far as throwing out/ripping up any non-loot cards they get) I am even willing to teach others to play, but they have no free time. (What with WoW being their life and all ... )Upper Deck is also currently in a legal suit about Yugioh (I never played it, just bring it up) and will probably lose its license to distribute cards for yugioh. They will be either picked back up by Konami, or dropped entirely. So this could well be the fate of the WoW TCG. Its player base is WAY to small (I look at deck lists made by world champs and IMHO, I have no idea how they won ... There aren't any good players who are World Champs and most of them play once and are done) and loot cards make sets REALLY expensive. ($8-10 per pack of Fires of Outlands because of the Spectral Tiger. I don't care about the tiger mount, I just want more Timbermaw Ally and Slows for my mage deck.)~Zuty
I've been reading up on the books/comics lately.
I wan't a shirt saying: LF Arena Mate
moar pics of mal.
I own most of the books already. Yes, that's counting the manga's. I'm also a collector of the TCG, a working one at that. I plan on getting one of the shirts/hoodies in the near future along with the comics and remaining books and cards. I've been a fan of Warcraft since it's first game and since it's spread... I spread. I claim being the nerd and reject in life for it but I love the history of the game and the goodies that go with it. lol
