Robe of Volatile Power, hands down. For months I hoarded DKP and passed on who knows how many set robes waiting for this thing, but it just would not drop for our raid. That is, until the one weekend I go out of town to visit friends (the first MC I'd missed since we started raiding) and not only does it drop...it drops TWICE. To make matters worse, I was on his computer chatting with guildies in MC. I screamed and hollered so loud that his neighbors came over to shut me up! It would seem, though, that my vacation had perforated the RNG dam and I finally got my robes the next week, much to the earache of my guild :PEPIC loot.
uhhhmost epic lewtttttwas..2 spineslicers
My most epic item was finally fishing up Mr. Pinchy the day before Wrath came out and getting my Magical Crawdad pet after trying for its entire existence.
My most epic drop?i had spent 8 hours in Ironforge (im horde) fishing in the lava for old ironjaw, when finally, it showed, i was the happiest hunter ever, I took my fish and hearthed. while in shatt i thought to myself, I'll do the daily, so I grab it and it was of course, Crocolisks in the City.So I headed to Org and cast, my first catch, Baby Crocolisk and Old Crafty, I was in awe, my guildies where like ZOMG LUCKY. the bad part, due to a bug i couldn't actually loot old crafty, so i have the achievement, and no fish.Only later did I learn that neither was needed for the fishing title -.-
Lifestone, dropped from an elemental in Silithus while leveling my hunter.Yeah, it's a crappy trinket, but you always remember you first... epic drop :)
My epic loot will come tomorrow when I get my penguin pet and can stop doing the dailies for it! Oh yeah and the fishing pole 8)
My most epic loot was some bear thing Wowhead gave me for posting in a thread one day. Since I always wanted some form of ursus arctos horriblis, I guess they thought it would be nice to give it to me.
this is the most epic mount ever
My most epic loot, is my Valorous Bonescythe Legplates of the WG boss. That guy is such a cakewalk, and the loot is amazing.
I gotta say one of my memorable drops was a back before BC and Wotlk when i was killing some random trash for leather and a Krol Blade droped. i spent a day considering if i should use it or sell it. in the end i figured id outgrow it and sold it on AH for a nice chunk of change :)
First time in MC, rag tagged up 40 people, wiped 3 times in BRD before we got everyone in MC.. that only took an hour or so.. Once we're in.. wipe to the lava spawns.. Finally we managed to get to Luciferon, and after a couple hours of wiping (or just getting the pull down), we killed him. Loot was Choker of Enlightenment and mana storm legs.. Rolled a 99 on the neck and won it.. server first MC epic! (technically, a pair of cenarion bracers dropped off trash, but there was no druid in the raid, ha!)
the most epic loot ever is swift neatherdrake which i will have this season
I would have to say my most "epic" loot would have to be my complete Tier 3 set from the old Naxx.Particularly the Cryptstalker Helmet because it looks so awesome.
in town, I once obtained a Tuxedo Jacket, and there was much rejoicing.
On my nameday (the feast day of my patron saint), Midnight dropped from Attumen.I rolled a 100.
The most epic piece of loot ive ever gotten was http://www.wowhead.com/?item=35504 weeks of farming kael. Too bad i was a bad owner and fed it after midnight so it turned into http://www.wowhead.com/?item=39286
My Lord Blackwood's blade, shield and bow. Because lord Blackwood was awesome
Well, i gotta say my epic http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40432 soon as my guild gets 25 people to 80, but i KNOW im getting it..Oh, and my drake collection http://www.wowhead.com/?items=15.-7&filter=na=drake well except for the arena drakes
I remember the first epic I ever got. I was a level 60 and for some reason I read that the Staff of Jordan had like a 1% higher droprate if it dropped off Sailors in Tanaris. So i killed them for a month straight...lol. What a newb I was, at that level farming a world drop? Well...badabing...SoJ and 500g later (a TON of cash then) I was happy! Now epics are for anyone with a mouse....sigh. I miss the blue gear dungeon grind to be honest....stratholme/scholo wouldnt even be ran more than 1 time at todays standards, and we ran it dozens of times for the dungeon set legs.
I remember starting a new palladin on a new server. and i was all bummed out because i put so much work into the other char. Then we went to kara and killed prince. got the Gorehowl first attempt and it started me back to my hihger gear again. was amazing
