I was grinding in the barrens and chuck norris came up to me and gave me his special beard growing ointment.... And ive never looked back ;)
Move epic loot has been at 80 when I went back to Strat (with Fan of Knives for the swarm of undead at the end) so I could finish my achievement. After I finished it, I decided to do a couple more runs just for the rep. 3rd run in, the Barons mount drops. It was awesome cause the mount feels so mythical but I got it solo. Best loot in a while.
This one time, I won The Sword of A Thousand Truths. That's a true story that I made up.
my most epic item drop would be my rogue t6 shoulders. At the time i was in s2 and kara gear and my guild leader let me go. I rolled a 100 for them and was very happy.
My most epic loot has to be shadowfang, after days of farming SFK i finally seemed to get it. This was pre 2.3 before they nerfed it to no return =[
I think I'll go with my Captured Firefly this time - the little awesomeness looks epic, and is very very nice pet to have.
While not technically being considered a "drop", I would have to consider my most epic to be the first time I fished up the infamous "Old Crafty" in Orgrimmar. Needless to say, I was shocked to get it, after around 100-150 casts when a fellow guild-mate was a short distance away from me trying to him for about 3 days.
Ok, I hardly ever raid, so I don't have any epics. Best I got was Pattern: Robe of the Void, which was useless since I'm a Mage and not a tailor.Favorite item that I crafted is my Flying Machine Control, but that doesn't really count as epic...
my most epic loot item is my Zhevra Charger, that i got by buying my lil cousin an account and recruiting it and getting it a time card, other than that is my frostwolf howler
Most epic time EVER was when my guild and I were on the illidan fight and due to some new players not knowning the fights we were down to about 8 people when we got to one of the demon phases, luckly shadowsong came out to help us and about half the raid released and called it a wipe but a few of us including me stayed and maiev actually killed illidan so we had to wait for everyone to run back to get loot.
The most epic item I've ever received has to be my Blue Proto-Drake. Ever since I saw the mobs in beta, I was determined to get one as a mount if they were introduced. Upon hitting eighty, I was skimming over Wowhead and came across the Time-Lost Proto-Drake item. I immediately went to the Storm Peaks and started camping the spawn site. Four days I spent all my game time at that spot, never saw it spawn. I decided to take a very brief break and do a couple dailies to help out with my Sons of Hodir rep. After I finished, I started flying back...and I got to the spawn zone just in time to see someone land the killing blow on the Time-Lost Proto-Drake. I was pretty bummed about it, and took a flight from K3 back to Dalaran. A couple hours later, some of my guildmates asked me to run Heroic Utgarde Pinnacle with them. Along the way we decided to shoot for all the achievements we could get. Time came for Skadi, and we came to an agreement that our gear wasn't right to try and take his achievements yet, so we just set off to kill him as quickly as we could. I remember just hoping so badly that he would drop it, just so I could have a chance at it. Loot window popped up, and my breath just caught in my chest. He'd dropped it. I was ecstatic just to see it, and made my /roll ready. In vent, it was almost simultaneous from the rest of the group. "Grats, Tanas!" Every other member in the party passed it to me, because they knew how much I wanted it. Even more than the item, I'll never forget that they all passed on such a rare drop just to see me happy. In a game largely centered around who-has-what, it's rare to find people that do that.
My most epic loot drop would have to be my Dwarven hand cannon cause it was the first epic item i ever got still have it to day for memories :)
My most epic loot was my Brut bow....because im a MAJOR PvP'r.What....I had to counter the insanely long 1st post with a short one.Seriously....look at that thing. Counter balance ftw.
I remember Back in the day when people tried to get those epic mounts in zg and then the aq instance came out and the one who opened it was considered a wow god lol.
I have to say the most epic loot drop I ever got was wheI decided to skill up fishing in ironforge while waiting for the instance summon, Got old ironjaw first cast.
My most epic loot was the Cauterizing Band from Domo. We had been trying to kill him for weeks and someday it finally looked like we have the strategy right. I really wished for the ring to drop-even told the GM about it- and when he opened the chest he said "I know of someone who is gonna be really happy." I spent all my dkp on the damn thing, but it was my first epic ring so it was definitely worth it.
Osnap, I'm running outta epic things...uuuhhh....My most epic loot is a website called "Wowhead"... maybe you guys have heard of it? I have to share it with hundreds of other people, though.
My most epic loot moment was winning Dragonspine on my guild's first ever Gruul kill. It was our first night raiding 25 mans as a guild, and we managed to bring down Maulgar, Gruul, and Magtheridon. I was so happy and honored to come away with the Dragonspine Trophy; it happened to be the only one that would ever drop for us. It will forever remain in my bank, I'm sure.
My netherdrake. I grinded rep like crazy which was not fun as a holy paladin. I did it alone too and got it done in the minimal amount of time doing every quest every day. (Of course, eggs would've made it go faster, and I did find some, but they were in high demand then.)
I'd have to say my first Vashj fight after the nerf was pretty interesting. We woulda got her in 2 tries. The first fight was spent learning the phases etc. 2nd one we almost had her down, but at 7% she evaded back up to 57% somehow. Of course then we were overwhelmed by the friggen bats lol. 3rd time was the trick.Got my T5 helm now. Still using it for pet healing bonus with T5 gloves :)
