After nearly a month of attempts on Lady V in SSC, and having got all my other pieces of T5, Oh how sweet it was to finally see those beautiful words pop across my screen: "Lady Vashj has been defeated." And behold! To the victor go the spoils.

my most EPIC loot would have to be meeting my now fiancée while in an old guild. the guild eventually died but we stayed together though a few other guilds. we are getting married in two weeks. if thats not epic i dont know what is. =D.... or getting the epic ring from sm lib on my first time tanking on my pally lol
When i fished up Mr. Pinchy of course.
As a lowly level 58 shadowpriest (my first character I've gotten to max level) I for some reason decided to help a warlock get his epic mount. I had no idea what to expect, how long it would take, or even how hard it would be. I assumed since there was a level 70 there it would be a breeze.. Boy was I wrong. So we went through Dire Maul with myself, the level 60 warlock, a level 64 warlock and a level 70 ret paladin. It took us about an hour to get to just that boss and wiped many times thereafter. At the 2 hour mark we finished it. There was no payment made from the warlock just many many thanks. After he got his mount we all decided to try to clear the rest of the instance.En route to the hunter boss Illyanna Ravenoak, I body pulled some random trash and we wiped. Came back and killed the boss. After the boss was down we all were done with this instance. It had been just about 3 hours total and and most of our gear was red. As everyone hearthed out and the group disbanded I went back and looted the trash that we had killed just before wiping on the boss. Destiny dropped. This was the very first epic I had ever SEEN drop. I was so very excited and glad that I had helped that warlock after all. I messaged everyone that was in the group that it had dropped and no one wanted it. I ended up selling it on the AH and gave a portion of the gold to each of them (20g). Keeping the rest towards my own epic mount!
My most epic loot was definitely Atiesh. After months and months of farming the splinters, farming the rep and doing the chain, I finally got my Atiesh (as well as my 9/9 T3). Definitely my most epic piece of loot.
One of the whole reasons I started playing WoW was because of the Bad Mojo Mask and a video I'd seen of someone PvP'ing. I remember thinking, "Man, that mask is so cool! I want to try this game out." This was about 3 1/2 years ago. I remember when I hit 40-ish. I ran ZF for the first time. I didn't know where the mask came from, but it dropped on my first time in ZF. I remember looking over at my friend and yelling, "OH MY GOD! DUDE! This mask that just dropped was one of the reasons I started playing this game!" I still wear it around sometimes and I even have one on my Warrior alt.
I'd like to say my most epic drop was the first epic I ever found but I really have to say it was a little while back on my warlock on my priest SOE alli side. I was expecting a long long farm for the http://www.wowhead.com/?item=5773 but instead I got it within 10 minutes of my start. Silly but I thought it was pretty awesome.
I'm still gunna go with the server first and second spineslicers i got from the first day of wotlk and the second week roflll
My most EPIC drop was another player! Long ago, when Silithus was considered end-game farming, I was among the few on my server who had memorized the spawn timers and locations for the infamous Twilight Prophet and had her on solid farm. The gold income from selling the Encrypted Twilight Texts was, as they say, schweeeeeeeeeeet. Then one day another hunter, wearing all greens and speaking in pinyin (romanized Chinese), attempted to compete with me for her spawns. Needless to say, I was not dissuaged and continued to collect my booty. The Chinese farmer, apparently frustrated, sent me several whispers in ALL CAPITAL LETTERS, but unfortunately I don't understand a lick of Chinese....... but my Taiwanese girlfriend does. It turned out that the gist of the translations of the farmer's whispers amounted to several threats of sexual violence towards the female members of my immediate family!I wasted little time in reporting the rude, sore loser, and included transcripts of his messages along with the translations in my ticket. And I never saw him again. My most EPIC drop was dropping a Chinese farmer from Silithus. Thank you.
Heroes' Redemption Greaves; downed Archivon minutes after hitting 80, needless to say i was psyched!
I guess my most "epic" loot drop would be the halloween items, the helm and the pet ~~ got the title "the Hallowed" in the last few hours of the event :D
on my VERY FIRST Onxyia run on my first ever level 60 character, I won rolls for Dragon Stalkers Helm, the Onxyia Hide Backpack, AND I got the Mature Black Dragon Sinew by Default, because I was the only hunter in the raid that hadn't done that quest yet. That made a very happy Silverblue.
