Hmm... Probably my most epic drop would have to be in Karazhan. My first time there, I got the bow that My brother had gotten and lasted him till Sholazar Basin (I think). http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28772 is that item. I have a feeling that the same will happen to me. I was pretty happy, because now I have a bow that should last me quite a while.
My most epic Drop i got Was Eye of Flame while i was lvling in blasted lands. My heart stopped beat for a Few seconds. That was really epic for me.
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=19902One day on a friendly guild run, we did the tiger and well it dropped. We all freaked, screamed on vent, etc. A few of us even gquit for the fun of it haha.Well the guild decided to just all need roll on it,I panicked and "PASSED" Instead of needed :[but everyone gave me 500 gold so it was ok :DAND THIS WAS PREBC! SO 500g WAS PHATLEWTS.
way back v1.x when onyxia was still a beast, was first kill for my raid group bad phase 3 had only 5 ppl alive of 40 and dropping fast, managed to get a lucky crit or two and dropped her but just BARELY and she dropped the T2 pally legs, i felt like a pimp running around in those :D
The most epic drop I have ever gotten in my 3 years of playing WoW was during hallow's eve this year. I had been farming for the Horseman's mount every since the event had begun, and as there were only 3 days remaining, I was getting worried I wouldn't get my hands on arguably the coolest mount in the game. I had seen it drop 2 times, and both times i lost the rolls to guildies, or friends. Finally, the third time it dropped, I was cautiously optimistic, and when my need roll tied with some player I didn't know, I thought for a second that he had won. But when i realized I had the mount in my bag, I actually yelled "YES!" to no one but my empty room. Needless to say this was some truly epic loot, and I tell this story to anyone that will listen :]
the greatest epic loot i ever got i finally won after rolling against 4 others for 3 weeks straight, it was my T4 helm for my warrior. i busted my butt to get to 70 on my first ever alliance toon, got into a guild with some irl friends and the guild went to kara, token dropped i rolled got a 72! was like ohh yea the other 4 people got a 74, 82, 93, and a 99 i was hurt. i sucked it up said next time. next week came we went in and again it dropped this time i rolled a 88 i was excited, first person against me rolled a 95, second a 97 and third a 100 i cried inside lol. third week we rolled up i was bound and determined we got in it dropped, i immiediatly hit /roll and i got a 100! i was like bring it on. the others rolled a 68 and an 89 i was so happy it was a great day indeed for me.
My most 'epic' drop was actually not that long time ago. I had killed mobs for days and hours, minutes and seconds(!), and finally the dropped. I have waited for days, and it was finally there! I know it's not a real epic, but it is epic to me. In addition, the cat actually looks like my friends, so that's just cool. And now, i can enjoy myself with seeing the little nice cat running happily behind me. Yay.
My most "Epic" moment in all of my WoW history would have to be pre-BC, after 36 hours of straight playing running on nothing but Red Bull and some Cheetos I had found behind my fridge-They fell back there months before.-I decided to head out to the local Wawa to get something to drink. So, I'm tired as hell, it's cold as %^&* outside, it's mid-December, and I really don't to walk. It was only like 1/4th of a mile away. I had some friends over for some raids and such and they were just as tired and lazy as me, so they make me head out all alone at like 11 O'clock at night to get them snacks and drinks. I ended up getting my fat ass forced off of my chair and pushed out of my own house to get these people their food and drinks. They just kept telling me to be a good host. :P By the time I got there I was disoriented beyond belief, I was almost falling asleep on their counter. I got the drinks and an industrial size bag of Cheetos, and looked outside. It was snowing, and I was like &*!@ this. I REALLY didn't feel like trucking it through the snow and cold, and remember folks I've been up way past my bedtime and I was sleeping on counters, so I did the only logical thing an avid WoW-player, in my state, would do. I reached into my backpack for my hearthstone. I wholeheartedly believed that my hearth would be in my RL backpack. I just ended up calling one of them to come pick me up. I remember saying "Get the hell over here, it's cold, snowing, and my hearth is on cooldown." That would probably be my most "Epic" WoW moment.
This was when s4 just came out and I was getting enough arena points for my brutal legs. I'm in a 5v5 as a MS warr in vent with guildies. We walk out and we see no one and everyone is yelling all rogues! rogues and druid! And we all huddle up.. the next moment we see 5 frost mage's appear with their elementals, the frost nova and atk our heals at the same time killing him almost instantly before would could do anything. They end up winning with us in shock, though I lost the match I barely got enough points for my legs that Tues, (14 points left over). It was by far the funniest match I have ever done and it is the only 5v5 team I've seen with all mages.
Most epic loot would most definately be my Staff of Dominance from Golemag in MC...man I would go to MC as often as possible, every time my guild raided I would be there, hoping for my gears... It would never drop, and when it did, mages got it >:( druids should obviously have priority because of our moonfire spamming capabilities, just in case the raid gets into a pickle, we can easily save the day...Anyways, when it finally dropped, and I got it, I was so happy :D but funny thing is that I had to go right after I got it, and they kept joking around, calling me a ninja from there on out because I just looted and left. lol.
The most EPIC drop I ever got was not an item, but another player.Back in 2005 when I was a wee level 42, my warrior was enthralled with engineering. Addicted, you might say.So on that fateful day, I was questing alone in the hinterlands when out of nowhere, a Tauren Shaman of equal level appeared from behind a tree and prepared to slay me!Well, I thought to myself, I guess my best option is to try my gnomish death ray!As I began casting the wonderful device, before Blizzard decided to make it a gnomish tickling ray, the shaman charged! The device started to vibrate loudly. A flash of blue death leaped from the end of my faithful trinket.Lo and behold, the shaman didn't even make it halfway towards me when the beam hit him square. He was hit square in the chest, and fell forward, fried to a crisp. After that, I decided to become a blacksmith >_<TLDR: One shot a guy with a death ray
My most epic loot is my white hawkstrider. She's such a character (SCREECH!), I love her.
The most Epic thing that has happened in my WoW experience happened this last Wednesday night at around 3 A.M. My brother has been buying herb after herb, getting guildmates, strangers and anyone with the skill to mill Northrend herbs and try to make Noble cards for his Enhance shaman. He would do his dailies and run instance just to make money to buy the herbs for this. He eat, drank and breathed the Nobles deck. He knew he had to have Darkmoon Card: Greatness... I even dropped leatherworking on a alt of mine just to pick up herbing and worked the skill for the last few days so I too could pick herbs for his cause. As of early this week we had plenty of herbs but almost no Eternal Life. He would buy as much as he could from the AH (at a semi reasonable price that is.) and I started farming for them myself to make cards for him. I made a couple cards. Nobles were among them! But last night he cleared the AH and sent my inscriptionist 2 tries worth. He was down to only needing the Ace of Nobles. My first and second combine were both chaos cards. I felt defeated. I could not help him with the Darkmoon faire so close at hand. So I took my Elemental shaman out to farm. I worked for 2 long, grueling hours in Sholazar Basin racing around trying to kill as many Servants as I could just for the 1 out of 20 or so that would drop a crystallized life. At the time there were 2 alliance druids with swift flight form and a pair of horde working in tandem, a mage and a hunter both with swift mounts, and me in my non Epic flying machine. I endured. I only had 19 crystallized life to farm. 2 hours later I had them. I sent them to my inscriptionist, logged him in and milled some more ink. When I hit the create button I remembered what my brother kept telling me, "Think Ace of Nobles." So I thought Ace, then another thought went in my head, "Think happy thoughts..." so I thought about a happy cupcake. When I looked down after noticing the blue of getting another skill point from the create I saw it, "You have created a Ace of Nobles." My heart began to race... It was the best birthday gift (December 9th) to give my brother. Truly my most EPIC experience in World of Warcraft.
Two whelpings http://www.wowhead.com/?item=10822 in about half an hour of each other. Don't think I've ever been that lucky before or since.
The most epic item I ever got was my Shadowcraft tunic (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=16721) on my rogue back in classic. No one in the raid had any experience with the instance (including myself) or raiding in general. We wiped so many times it became routine. I had to leave the instance to repair three times and I only left after more 1/3 of my gear was broken. The entire thing took us about 9 hours to complete. We had cycled through probably 25 people or so as well. The Beast gave us the most trouble as never had a tank with the gear necessary to absorb the damage he dished out. We ended up having the rogues evasion tank which meant I got to die around 2 minutes into the right at every attempt.I did hear my favorite quote on vent from this event though. My druid friend had just aggro'd some spawns while everyone was returning from a wipe. I was telling everyone on vent to get ready to fight but he stopped me and says "There are some mistakes that ritual suicide can fix" and proceeded to jump from the highest level to the bottom, killing his character. I laughed so damn hard. To beat the General, we had a hunter kite him while we took care of the adds. In the end it was worth it though.I still have that tunic in my bank. It was such a rough but fun experience I refuse to get rid of it.
The first time I ever got the Stoppable Force was the most epic loot I have ever gotten. I have played a lot of different characters and gotten lots of loot, but the stoppable force was definitely the most epic.
My most epic drop was Lion's Heart Girdle from heroic Ramps. It was my very first epic and I'll never forget that one. :P
My pony Keg. I never get tired of that little beauty.
T2 hat from Ony. Still my favorite fight of the game :P
I had a Tiny Crimson whelp drop while farming mithril. Sadly I didn't have a clue as to it's worth at the time and sold it for 40g.
