Is there any macros for druids :-)
Here's one I use on my warlock for all 3 "Drain" spells#showtooltip/stopmacro /cast Drain Soul/cast Drain Mana/cast Drain LifeMake sure you use the "?" icon, so the tooltip can update to the appropriate spell, based on the mods. This will show whichever spell is active due to modifier, or lack thereof and cast it. Also, it will stop the macro if you have a friendly, non-hostile, or no target and will not let you clip the end with the same spell, though you can switch to a different one via the modifiers as soon as the gcd is up. And here is one I use for my tanks to check the chance to be hit with a critical in PvE, such as instances/raids./script DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage(5.6-((0+GetCombatRatingBonus(CR_DEFENSE_SKILL))*.04+GetCombatRatingBonus(CR_CRIT_TAKEN_MELEE)),1,0.5,0)Just pick an icon, name it something appropriate (i.e. Critability) and paste the entire script into the macro box in one line (note: will take multiple lines in the box, but is only one continuous line of code). This will display in the chat box in the color of an emote as a number, the lower the number the better, negatives are good, but slightly overkill. This is the chance you have to be critcally hit by a mob 3 levels above you, this includes bosses in raids at level cap(currently 80), useful for a tank to determine how close you actually are to being "Uncritable".Edits: Checked the macro for "Drain All" in-game and revised it.
Some nice macroes here...I might steal a few...
Bump, because it's a nice thread.
Is it just me, or are macro's just NOT user friendly?Honestly, i find a huge amount of issues with many great players, non noobs, that struggle over something as trival as things as macros. In fact, i spent about 25 minutes trying to figure out why my new totem marco was messed up.The reason- i forgot a comma,,,
SO I'm trying to make a macro that could cast Haunt, CoA, Corruption, UA, Siphon Life, SB in one click... can anyone help? I'm not so good with macros, at all.
Is truly an elegant do-it-all-one-key rogue macro. I changed SS to Mutilate. Nice bit of logic, there. Sure, have to do a manual SnD and KS on occasion, but can now ignore all other buttons. Thx vexis58!
I disapprove of macros which attempt to do everything for you (in most cases, all-in-one types). Read the article part of the article to understand my stance on this.
To be totally honest, macros are like AddOns. Don't you dare say people who use macros are "noobs" if you run around with castbar, cooldowncounter, sheepcounter, even omen! It's all there to make it a tad easier, but as we all know, AddOns can bugg, make you lagg and so on.But to be fair. AddOns and Macros are truely something which have taken over the game. I would like to see people with 100 AddOns and Macros for everything, do something without them. I am pretty sure people get way too used to them, to be able to play WoW under "normal" conditions.I, myself, only have 1 macro, and that's for my cooldowns/Cast Arcane Power/Cast Icy Veins/Use <Trinket Name>/Cast Mirror ImageAnd then because I raid, and my guild requires it, I have got Omen, DBM and Decursive. I also have Xperl to make the game UI a bit more stylish and Bartender to make my spell/abillities fit better in my UI.
I only use one macro:/castrandom , , I got tired of trying to figure out which of my talbuks/raptors are my fav, so I just made a macro to use em all randomly.
How to rotate 5 or so trinkets: Put them in the first 5-ish slots of bag 4 (The first one on the bag list is acually bag 4)This macro will bump each trinket down one bag slot (so the trinket in bag 4, slot 5 will wind up in bag 4, slot 4, the one there will wind up in slot 3, and so on. the trinket in slot 1 will wind up equipped, while the one that was equipped will wind up in slot 5. This is good for engineers who have a lot of neat gadget trinkets (Death rays, Mortars, Dragonlings, battle chickens, etc) and want to rotate them between fights.
/Cast Blood Fury/s RAWR RAWR RAWR I'm A &*!@ING DINOSAUR
Here's a personal favorite of mine:#showtooltip/cast Throw/cast Fishing; !ShootA macro for all in one fishing/shooting.Often I don't get more advanced than that, but that one is just useful for any class.
