Watch WoW Live Developer Q&A w/ Ion Hazzikostas from Warcraft on www.twitch.tvHighlights

Azerite Armor is complex and will not be tradeable. They want to make sure that people aren't pressured to trade away and upgrade.

There's more to be revealed regarding the Horde Story. There's bound to be tensions because of the wide variety of motivations that make up the Horde.

The Camera anchor was standardized across all races, but mostly notably changed on Goblins and Gnomes.

Hati is tied to the artifact. But perhaps in the future, we may see more of Hati.

They are looking at relaxing the transmog restrictions of fist weapons.

Legacy Loot Mode give you more loot for content that is irrelevant. When BFA comes out, Legion will not use Legacy Loot Mode, but you'll still get two pieces per boss if you solo it.

LiveblogWhy can't I use mage tower appearances when I've completed them on my first? When will Warlocks get their new caster animations? The bonus for random dungeons has been changed to a weekly bonus. Why the nerf?Legacy Loot was recently changed to be listed as "more than 10 levels" intstead of "10 or more". What's the reasoning? What is the reasoning behind Azerite Armor and Mythic raid mounts being untradeable? What changes are you making to encourage more variety at the highest level? Will M+ seasons last until the next major patch or will 8.x.5 patches see a new affix? You said that Class development will be put to a later date after the expansion launches. When will that be?As a Horde player I find myself with little reason to hate the Alliance or take pride in the Horde right now. Is this a Phase 1?Is there a solution to not have a stat squish every other expansion? Will we see fixes to the recent stat squish with Legacy content? What are your thoughts on a level squish? Is the new camera anchor overlooking the character an intended change? Will we be able to say goodbye to Hati as Hunters? Will we continue to use the artifact fishing pole in BFA?Using Artifact for Transmog forces that Artifact Apperance for both hands. Intended? Why are Feral and Guardian artifact skins tied to transmog instead of a separate tab?Can we expect any changes to transmog possibilites? Will we see more gameplay altering Azerite Traits soon with the loss of Legendaries, set bonuses and artifacts? What are the thoughts on developing classes in BFA and the future? No talent row past 100 and people want new toys. The Mage Tower challenges in Legion were awesome and would you consider introducing this sort of solo challenge again in BFA?

Centaur Clan Reputation sounds interesting...

Ion looks stressed as all Hell. Wonder if his boss gave him an ultimatum.

We can only hope.

Yup.

LOL Ion is incapable of directly answering a question. It's just 100% lawyer-speak. "Yes and no..."

They're sticking to it! The legacy loot thing is completely baffling, and a serious bummer indeed.

They are killing a substantial portion of the game for many players, myself included. I'm all about soloing previous expansion content to collect transmogs, pets, and mounts. Now people like me will have to wait another 2 years before doing Legion.

Yeah, theyll do what they want and youll like it.

Comment by Xalea

Just what I expected, Ion spends forever talking in circles about stuff nobody cares about. Not sure why I even tried watching this.

They're doing it alright, but I don't like it!

I really honestly thought that was a bug, and they would fix it to be 10 levels. This is a real downer for me.

Because it's not always a clear yes or no... that's called nuance.

Also the answer you were probably refering to was a question that actually have been two questions (tradeable Azerite gear and Mythic mounts) which makes it just an answer to both... on is yes, on is no.

Mythics aren't a big deal right now. Talk about what you're gonna fix.

If you cant solo a raid then its not legacy. We always had "experience" or "honor" from 10 level below than us. Deal with it. Just because legion raids had awesome mogs doesn't mean you're entitled to get them when BFA is up

Comment by rodalpho

It did mean that in every other expansion across the past 14 years. This is a change, they're taking it away from me, and I have a right to be upset at that. And I am. A major part of the game I enjoy has just been ripped away.

It's funny, because you can completely solo Warlords of Draenor throughout Legion, and can probably still do so with the prepatch changes at 110. I think it was around patch 7.2 or 7.2.5 that I first started soloing M-Archimonde, and that was on a hunter, not a demon hunter, blood DK, or other typical "world first solo" class.

And as he explained, that was because of the sheer power growth that Artifact weapons gave us. If we did not have those we might be only now soloing M-Archimonde.

Did he just compare orcs to forsaken?

Wow total screw job on Legacy Loot. First they intentionally botch almost every aspect of looting older content, promise a fix to the mistake they were warned about in advance and the fix doesn't actually fix a damn thing. What is with Blizzard's new levels of hatred for players lately? It makes no bloody sense! Whatever their choice of activity, people are playing the game and it truly feels like Blizzard is going out of their way to make it more frustrating to do so when their primary objective should always be the complete opposite.
