Blizzard

The changes we're making to the Mythic+ system for Battle for Azeroth will prevent you from receiving your normal Mythic Cache this week. As this was unintentional, your cache will include 1000 Wakening Essence and a Keystone instead of your normal rewards.

If you have a problem looting the Mythic Cache, you'll receive the Keystone in the mail and the Wakening Essences will be granted after you log back in.

Blizzard

Just a heads up but we're working on a hotfix to add the BoA legendary tokens back to the vendor. We don't have an ETA on this but we're working on it!

You buy the new legendary item and use it wich turns it into a random class legendary token

Every toon has 1000 essence in their weekly chest today. EVERY toon, even if you have never done a mythic or mythic+.

No epic? Who needs wakening essence?

Comment by 1370823

if you logged on with ap tokens still in bag or have class hall quests that grant ap..tehse have been grayed out and only vendor for gold. only the new tokens you acquire will award essence. any class hall quest which used to award ap, and you is newly recieved - no longer awards an ap token at all and strictly awads essence.

(eu player here) Eh, does this mean M+ keystones are still working on legion dungeons right now? If so I guess that's something to do...I suppose

Is this true? Can anyone else verify this? I'm at work, otherwise I'd do it myself.

I've done it on 15 toons already myself. I have never once done a mythic. Ever.

Mmmm fantastic! I've got a few alts that will surely benefit from this!

The token comment is because the amount of gold you receive for everything is super nerfed. All the epic follower items that gave gold were nerfed as well as world quests that gave you gold has been about halved. Emissary and Pargon boxes also don't give nearly as much gold, not to mention any gold quest on your order hall table that you sent out last night are coming back as order resources instead of the 1k-3k it should've been.
