Interesting Datamined NPCs from Battle for Azeroth Alpha

Maximillian of Northshire made an appearance in Legion too. He was a bonus follower Paladins could recruit if they'd done his quests in Un'Goro. (Which, funnily enough, I'd taken my paladin through Un'Goro while leveling long before this happened.)

Anyone else scroll over the npc named Bri'tani. it says Spears. usually blizz doesn't put references for famous people in their games unless they play. such as Robin Williams, R.I.P.

Ok, now I'm interested! First, a top hat can make anyone look awesome. The books look hilarious, but here is my favorite part. OZUMAT! I've wanted to pay that thing back for sinking my boat in Vash'jir.

That NPC reminds be an awful lot about Dr. Facilier, the Witch Doctor from the movie "The Princess and the Frog"

They're both probably a reference to Baron Samedi from Haitian Vodou (whom Bwansamdi is based on). He's the loa of the dead, and he is usually depicted wearing a top hat.

Nope, Neptulon just kinda shows up with no explanation as to how he escaped. We had to go clean house for the other Elemental Lords to get their support but Neptulon is just there, like “what do you mean I was captured by Naga and you guys didn’t rescue me because that storyline was scrapped? Nope totally didn’t happen.” it would have been the perfect opportunity to wrap it up there and then but Blizz didn’t take it. I think Ozumat shows up as an ability for the Naga boss in Tomb of Sargeras though.
