Hopefully it's up and working soon. Still getting the same "Error fetching character on server from Blizzard Battle.net" error it's been throwing for a while now.
I had an issue similar to yours a few months ago. It turned out Blizzard was having trouble updating the new armory for toons on merged servers. If that's the issue for you as well, put in a ticket and Blizzard can correct the issue for not only you but your whole server. I had a very pleasant discussion with a GM about it. They're pretty cool to talk to for easy fixes :)
So, can a toon unlock the opposing faction allied races or are they faction specific? Like do I need a Horde and an Alliance with completion to unlock them all?
So........What about old returning players who skipped a massive chunk of legion or skipped the expansion entirely? Are we just screwed since we STILL have to pay for it?

Calm down kiddos. Plenty of time to grind stuff in legion for the 4 legion related races. They are after all expected to become available with the BFA preorder that is expected to launch sometime after 7.3.5. However 2 of the 6 is for BFA content - zandalar trolls and dark iron dorfs. And its already been hinted that the next set of BFA races is kul tiras humans and brown orcs.
I can create any subrace now. I'm so hyped!

100% here as well, but I don't like any of the new races. I'm sick of seeing Nightborne after being stuck with Suramar as current content for so long, I've already got both a Tauren and Draenei, and I quite frankly don't like Blood Elves or High Elves. None of these four really interest me enough to make one, though I do like them better than Pandas. At least these allied races don't look like cheap cash grabs (even if 3/4 are just reskins with tiny extra features). I feel the same with Zandalari Trolls, ONLY because they don't have full dinosaur forms for Druid. Unless that changes, I won't make a Zandalar Troll. Direhorn Tank or bust. I'm fine with Dark Iron Dwarves though, since they're the only Dwarf I like. I hate Moira, but I like the ash-skinned racist madmen from Blackrock Mountain. Broken should have been an allied race over the Lightforged. Recolored Draenei with worse racials just don't cut it. The Broken are vastly different enough from Draenei that they'd be a fun addtion, even if they got trash racials like the Lightforged. They move and act like Tauren, and their models already work with armor other than capes and helms, so just fix that and they'd be perfect candidates for an allied race. It's not like we didn't have a faction of Broken TWICE now, right?

I hope all these requirements to unlock Allied Races are only there until BfA is released. I am not going on a rant or start bashing Blizzard for nothing but just being the Captain Obviously Logic.What about new or returning players at the start of BfA or even sometime half way through it? Unless Blizz removes these requirements later does that mean they are telling people to go back one expansion and grind rep / finish all the zones storylines in order to gain access to a NEW feature in NEW expansion that they came back in or just joined WoW for the first time?Logic and tiny bit of common sense ....
Only thing missing is actually having a Horde character at max level as well!
