Can't wait for this to be live! Already looking forward to it !
It would make sense that he'd show up. I rather liked the last time he showed up in quests (at least from the Horde perspective) and it almost made me want to see the quest chain from the Alliance PoV, so I'm expecting something good here too.
Is this an Alliance-only questline, or do both sides get this? If not, is there a Horde version?
Aaahhh... The spoilers :OI don't want to look, but I can't help myself :(I blame Sas...
The feelings aren't quiet the same, but maybe the Horde gets something to do with Vol'Jin? That'd be nice.I mean, I'd enjoy a Horde version of this questline, but I don't think we're THAT special to go to Stormwind Keep or walk the roads with him, haha.Ah well, if not, I'll just watch the questline through the rain.
I'm not playing Legion for reasons. But as a Horde player, I aided Anduin in Krasarang Wilds: helped him heal injured Pandaren; helped him clear Chi-Ji's temple; helped him persuade Zuen to open the Vale to Alliance and Horde; and tried to protect him from Hellscream's abuse of The Divine Bell. And if I were playing Legion, there's not a thing I would be allowed to do to help my friend in his time of greatest need.Blizzard has a Horde bias. Suuuuuure.
To be fair it wouldn't really translate to the Horde. Vol'jin dropped his favourite rock or whatever else crude object he coveted. Some well licked moss? A twig specially kept for sniffing? Or maybe the Horde could bring Sylvanas back one of her rotten body parts that fell off whilst she was running away.
Poor Anduin.. I think he needs Shandris as his consort in times of dire.
It's a bit of a surprise if the Horde gets nothing similar to this. I like Anduin, and it's good to get to see his character develop more. But I think Horde is more lacking when it comes to well-developed characters. Often because those that get any exposure, get killed off.Maybe they could have done something with Baine. He's been sort of Anduin's equivalent since Cataclysm in the surrounding lore, but doesn't get much show-time ingame.
That's interesting when you mentioned finding the compass a few weeks ago - I was wondering why we datamined the first quest a few builds before the others. It came to my attention today because we finally processed new quests after formatting changes last week and all the follow-up quests stood out. Sometimes Blizzard likes to "hide" parts of questlines until people complete them on the PTR, so perhaps that's why we were able to datamine the follow-ups this build, but not a few weeks ago. Was a similar situation to Balance of Power - we were updating the database every week to get the new Nighthold quests up :)
The horde may get something t do with Vol'jin (maybe a broken tusk or part of his armour or something) or maybe something to do with sylvanas (maybe end what happened in stormheim)
Guys, I don't know if enough people tell you this, but kudos on making sure people have an option not to see the spoilers on the front page :) Not enough news sites do that.
