I really hope the meta achievement for the new raid is called "Glory of the Tomb Raider".
Seems like one of the changes to the legendary system is that they're making it so that rather than just getting a legendary you get an item that you "identify" to turn into a legendary- which basically means that you'll be able to safely switch your loot specialization to something other than your main spec and not accidentally get an off-spec legendary, since the spec of the drop isn't decided until you identify it.
YES. YES. YES.My oldest character is an Unholy Death Knight, and with the introduction of the talent that turns your ghoul into an abomination, I started lamenting the fact that its model was looking so dated. MY PRAYER IS ANSWERED.
"Death Knight Abomination is finally high resolution!" Stitches! ;) (and recolor)
A much needed update to the Abomination model to go alongside with the updated Ghoul model. Very much appreciated! Now I can keep my Sludge Belcher Talent without feeling guilty.
I Hope this will apply to all the abomination models. I hate going to UC and seeing the low rez guards
Those new abomination models are disturbing. I can barely stand looking at the low res current models. (Sorry, it's the exposed guts that freak me out. I can deal with the Forsaken and skeletons, even the new ghoul models. ) That was admittedly a model I hoped they'd never update.
Whoa charge deals damage crazy
stitches gonna look so sexy now
Aspect of the Cheetah used to be a big no-no in dungeons and now it'll give you an edge during battle. You so funny, Blizzard. That last Abomination coloring looks perfect for Knucklerot and Luzran in the Ghostlands.
Sitting on the fence on that abom model...
great here i thought there might be hope they'll temper the AK levels and realign AP required per traitbut nope, I guess we're getting at least 15 more AK levels fml
Some hints at pretty exciting content coming up. I'm really looking forward to this tab targeting quality of life change though, sounds great if it works as intended. The extra artifact traits has me on the fence right now, more AP grinding for marginal yet mandatory power increases, or more fun, dynamic stuff that's actually interesting, like the golden traits? I'm personally still waiting on the Survival artifact ability to become an instant cast rather than channelled ability to make the spec feel less clumsy and flow more naturally in melee combat as well.
Why are the PvP Tabards so ugly?
Updating ghouls and now abominations. That's a bit suspicious and suggests we may be dealing with the Scourge again sooner rather than later. Only way Blizzard could justify updating the warlock pets was because of Legion. Moonkin's update was likely due to Val'sharah. Naga had received an update, too, so begs the question if a naga expansion is next or if we're returning to Northrend. Betting more on naga.New abomination model is nice but not one I'd ever use just because it looks disgusting. You'd think the guts falling out would cause the abomination to step on them and either tear them out or trip over them. Doesn't make much sense. You'd also think that'd be a weak point. If it tripped over its own guts and tore them out, that'd expose the spine. But the spine's already exposed from the back ... Well, if it tripped over its own guts, that'd leave it vulnerable for a moment as it got back to its feet. Another case of Blizzard just going for what they think looks cool and not what's practical.Begs the question if the mini abomination pets will be updated, too, as well as NPC ones like the UC guards and even Patchwerk or if they'll be left alone.
