Can someone explain why they havent added a glyph that priests can use to remove shadowform visual , because I want to see my transmog once in a while, and thats impossible when the shadowform is always on
When using a glyph the spellbook will automatically go to the page on which the spell is located and the spell will be highlighted.Source: I used the DK geist glyph and it put me on page 2 of my spell book where raise dead is and highlighted raise dead for me.(While I was on page 3 when I last closed my spellbook.)
Maybe they mean to ask where the Warlock Vendor is.
is the astral recall one coming back at all or are we just SoL, i really liked that once since it was a quick teleport to orgrimmar
Still don't get why they changed Glyphs...I liked my Glyph of Icy touch where it would dispel a magic buff on a mob.I liked the glyph where my AotD wouldn't Aggro everything so that i wouldn't get yelled at by the Tank.I liked the Glyph that gave me the ability to heal with my Death Coil...If at least those new glyphs still where like the old ones, infinite cometics, and 6 mecanics changing glyphs and voila, no, they had to take verything away...
The changes to minor glyphs are horrible. Most classes were gutted, and the revamp being used as just another gold sink and "collect them all" time-waster. Except this time we had already collected them, just to have them stolen away. Minor utility glyphs, such as Paladin's Falling Avenger are gone (though bubble hearth appears to have been rolled up into the baseline Divine Shield spell). Also, adding Dalaran Initiates' Pin is a slap in the face to all the mages who already spent 500 gold to buy Tome of Dalaran Brilliance. They should have automatically given that toy to any mages who already knew Dalaran Brilliance.
I fail to see how/why we should be excited about these glyphs or "toys". These are all spells/glyphs we already had access to, and yet Blizzard thinks we'll all be excited to get them back (at great cost). What's worse is that some of the toys, such as the Dalaran Initiates pin, are not given to players who previously already had spent the 500g on getting Dalaran Brilliance so we're expected to fork out twice for it (sure 500g isn't much, but still). Really glad you guys did this guide, but to me it still feels like Blizzard is asking us to get really excited for Legion by taking more and more stuff away from us. Next you know they'll revert the camera changes and expect us to be thankful that they didn't destroy life. Things like this are just a reminder of how much of our standard kit we're losing.Edit: I also noticed on the Mage video that the glyph to give Slow Fall a 'rainbow' wasn't included. Does this mean they've removed it, or was it just not shown?
I need to know since I didn't see it in the Mage glyphs video, or in the description above of the glyphs being sold... but where is Polymorph Pig? Polymorph Cat? Polymorph Rabbit? I was sad enough to lose my Polymorph Penguin on my Frost Mage... please tell me they aren't getting rid of all other forms too? If these are all minor cosmetic glyphs now, then you should be able to keep the ones we have, and heck... even bring back the ones we've lost! I LOVED my poly penguin spell, and I think there was also at one time, Poly Monkey, Poly Porcupine, Poly Bear? I love variety... please don't get rid of the other animals we had, and please consider bringing back the ones we used to have!
Damn, there's no way to replicate the effect of Glyph of the Righteous Retreat right now, is there?
Yuhuuu :)
I'm definitely not happy that they expect us to essentially re-buy all the glyphs we already had. I'm not sure if it's an intentional gold-sink, or just laziness on Blizz's part. But what really grinds my gears is that they removed the Warlock's Glyph of Nightmares, and didn't replace it with anything similar. It was flat-out awesome riding my Dreadsteed across lakes with a trail of fire in my wake. Now, instead, I'll have to pull out my Water Strider. Nothing quite reinforces the entire Warlock #ClassFantasy like a badass practitioner of chaos and fel magic riding an over-sized mosquito. Capital job there, Blizz.
Agreed on that one ;)
Agreed!
