Due to popular demand (and a few shady back-alley deals in Stormwind’s Old Town), the Alliance bike built for Azeroth Choppers will be rumbling its way to a vendor in Azeroth sometime after the launch of Warlords of Draenor. This mount will cost a pretty hefty sum of gold, however, so you might want to start saving up now if you want to ride around in style on this masterful machine. As a reminder, once the winning Horde Chopper is added to the game, it will be available for free to players who log in between now and September 30, 2014.
Remember, only characters of the associated faction will be able to ride each bike, so buyer beware!
Alliance get their mount now so stop crying!
Oh blizzard. Like the plan from day one wasn't to give both factions their bike regardless of who won.Anyway, no thanks.1. That thing is ugly.2. It doesn't fly.3. It'll probably cost way too much gold.D. That thing is ugly
The reason they are adding the Alliance bike is when they announced the release of the Horde bike, they said only those of the correct faction can ride it. I remember reading this and feeling disappointed because I am mainly Alliance and I wanted a cool bike too.
Disappointed in the removal of the Guild leveling function. I enjoyed taking a new toon that needed to level, to a newer Guild and helping them to level up the Guild. It made the leveling experience worthwhile and allowed me to meet some new folks. What's the point of letting all that Guild leveling XP go to waste in a level 25 Guild? I was hoping to see some additional levels for the Guilds, maybe to 50? I sure hope that the Guild achievements are not being dropped as well.... Mistake to remove it IMHO, as it also helped separate the less active Guilds from the more active ones.
First of all, that Alliance bike looks a lot less like shiny scraps of metal, and I would've voted for it if it had normal wheels (like wtf). Second, it's total bull!@#$ that they put the Alliance bike into the game when Alliance lost. If anything, Alliance should be able to use the Horde bike as Alliance. They lost, it's way unfair now. Also, it's total bull@#$% that the Garrisons are anything more than pretend-quest hubs, and nothing more. There's zero customization that actually reflects your personality, race or gender etc. Losing the ability to choose location ruins everything, and on-top of that you barely have any customization other than placement.Right now, they need to stop wasting time, and make the very few features of Warlords of Draenor actually worth something. Custom faces for each race is in my opinion a waste of time. There's so much emotion expressed (constantly) now, so there's no reason to create slight variations of the same face, conveying different emotions. Instead of wasting time on making the same face, they should add more color options and such - things that add more customization, and take less time. They need to stop shooting themselves in the foot all the time, and actually get something done.
About the fact that some of the features are being delayed, for example the toy box-like function for tabards and heirlooms. Sure, I am disappointed that they wont be released at launch as promised. But that is something good in my oppinon. Than we will have new and exciting features upcoming in patches, and something to look forward to. I imagine it's like how it was in vanilla with the voice chat system. Too bad I wasn't around back then.
Idea: Hold onto your seats. The people that logged in, in the alloted time, should be allowed to pick which they want, the other should cost gold. Even though I will be swapping back to horde now that their races look decent.
I knew they would put ally bike in..I figured you would have to pay cash for it, not in game gold..Im guessing it will probable go for 120k-200k gold
