This looks pretty sweet.
I can't wait, this zone is going to be awesome!
Can't wait to see the Horde's Zone!
Its Alliance AND Horde!
Considering all the class changes, I am going to appreciate this on even my non-boosted characters! Getting pretty excited.
But is it savage?
Already tired of Orcs. *sigh* All I wanted was a 18th century Gilnean Garrison or a Translyvanian esque Forsaken Garrison.
Sounds very interesting can't wait to get it on !
Only one screenshot? And the text sounds rather vague as well, with detail only on how savage and many-toothed things are.
Can't help myself, but when I first saw the map, I thought "omg, is this Jade Forest?" :-)
Do we like checking out Alpha articles? I'm not at all interested to see what may or may not be going into the game. There's so many changes week to week, I'm out.But I guess since Blizz hasn't anything for MoP until then, it may be viewed as a better filler than that instance at the end of LK whatever it was called. But then filler is filler and this gets expectation up and then it changes which is more of a turnoff for me.
Why are you complaining? It's just the intro zone. This is probably a small questing area where Horde and Alliance players will flee from to their real starting zones. Explaining the hole zone would probably be a huge spoiler.Look closely on the map. It's just a small area around the Dark Portal. It isn't even the complete Hellfire Peninsula. There will most likely be a lot of plot and not so much to play. I would go as far and say that this will most likely be a solo scenario are or a phased zone just for the player. But I'm wondering now: Will this portal be our return to our original timeline? How will players swap out of WoD and do some vanilla content and stuff? I wouldn't leave until reaching 100 but surely there are people who want to, right?
I don't really see it as complaining (my actual complaints tend to have more bite to them) more like making an observation. After the shadowmoon preview I expected something else, and was somewhat disappointed. No more, no less.
i wish the zone map for it wasn't so tiny on this article. :(
Honestly, I hope the initial Tanaan experience is instanced for every player. It would help alleviate the biggest problem with an expansion launch: several dozen thousand people crammed together in a single zone, making immersion practically impossible, and quest completion incredibly frustrating. The problem is alleviated somewhat this time, due to alliance and horde being in different zones at first, but everyone regardless of faction HAS to do the intro in Tanaan, which is why I hope that intro is instanced/phased/scenario/whatever.
