Posting Patch notes on a Friday 13th? o_O blizzard has guts.I love it. =D
Lifebloom can no longer stack. Its healing has been increased to compensate.YES! my god! yes!Wild Mushroom (Restoration) now has a 30-second cooldown, lasts for 30 seconds, provides periodic healing to nearby allies, and no longer collects Rejuvenation overhealing.noooo, why? give me a break blizz
I thought they removed readiness...was i wrong?also, a bit sad i will not see my carebears as survival hunter . . .
The amount of healing simplification so far is just saddening.
Is there any information on the purpose of the active mana regen section removal?
Is there any information on the purpose of the active mana regen section removal? We're not sure. We can confirm that Telluric Currents, the Shaman spell, is currently active within the Alpha. Whether that remains the case, we will have to see.
I wonder why curse of elements was removed. It almost sounds like they meant to say enfeeblement since that is the physical damage debuff. It wasn't clear why they were removing the magical debuff and it isn't mentioned elsewhere in the Warlock changes of these patch notes.
Shadowform no longer allows any healing spells to be cast but also no longer has a restriction on casting other Holy spells....Do we even HAVE any other Holy spells? Renew got removed already, Shadow can't do Divine Hymn... Blizzard, we don't need less versatility because you're making versatility a stat. Stop it.
i said it before and i will say it again wth Blizzard. Reducing horde racial skills and giving alliance allot more? reducing horde durations, increasing cooldowns but doing the opposite for alliance how is this balancing?
Why even allow Guardians and Ferals to have a caster form any longer? Blizzard is taking away just about any ability left to be cast in them at this point.
Looks like Bladed Armor (what let Tanks use Bonus Armor to increase their attack strength) is gone. :-(
i was really REALLY happy with this notes... until you give druids back nourish... WHY? there's no explanations, it's just THERE >_<
Yes and no. The attack power tanks gained from bonus armor is still there:New secondary stats added:•Bonus Armor: Increases armor and Attack Power for tanking specializations. The just removed the "Bladed Armor" passive to reduce spell-book bloat.
As a MoP priest, I honestly don't know how to heal without Spirit Shell. Wish they had made it less effective(long CD, less amount absorbed) rather than just cutting it out.

Reducing horde racial skills and giving alliance allot more? reducing horde durations, increasing cooldowns but doing the opposite for alliance how is this balancing?I'm not upset :P because the racials for Blood Elves (Which have been very underwhelming since TBC) are getting some serious loving.1% crit for everything? HELL YES PLEASE.Posting Patch notes on a Friday 13th? o_O blizzard has guts.I love it. =DI too, like to patch note dangerously.P.S. I'd like Rygarius but it's taken. I'm not an imposter! D:=O but...... but....... I thought all blizzard employees were automatically flagged for VIP status on this website. You should contact some of the ZAM administrators, maybe they could do something about the name. Specially if the other user hasn't been active in years.
Odd....if Chimera Shot's self heal has been removed, the only thing it will be good for is as MM's only non-physical ranged attack. Aside from obviously ignoring armor, what other benefit would it provide since they also took Piercing Shots and Concussive Barrage out?EDIT: Don't get me wrong, I like the changes to BM and SV, and I predicted that they may be initiating a Warlock-style overhaul for Hunters a while back which now seems to be coming true...but apart from the to-be-discussed replacement for Piercing Shots, MM seems to be losing a lot especially with regards to its supposed signature attack (it first lost the unique ability to synergize with different stings, and now it's losing the self-heal as well as Piercing Shots, Serpent Sting refresh and Concussive Barrage bonuses).I know that the Alpha is still very much in flux, but I'd like some assurance on how they plan to compensate MM, partly because I used to main that spec in WotLK and largely because I do not want another wave of premature "nerf BM!" cries.
I'm really sad about losing Spirit Shell. The one thing about being a Discipline Priest was being aware of everything that was happening and knowing when the best time to shield someone was. Sad that I'll be losing something that, when used correctly, could separate the decent Disc Priests to great Disc Priests.
Another area of gameplay that we polished is how characters are able to sustain their own health, primarily when frequently killing enemies, such as in solo questing.I notice that Mages are the only class not to be on that list. Are you saying to us that every class is allowed a self heal, including 'pure' dps like Hunters and Warlocks, but Mages aren't? Mages are already among the squishiest class, outside of some nice cooldowns, but some damage can't be avoided, so how are meant to combat that? And no, we don't get Glyph of Evocation since they're making Evo an Arcane-only spell.. I know it's still early days and that we have 6 months of testing left, but the more I read of the patch notes, the more I'm thinking it might be time to hang up my wow-boots.
Seconding the "wtf" notion on MM. Chimera shot is basically pointless, no serpent sting, no arcane shot. Steady focus is gone, so are piercing shots and Master Marksman. So what, Hunters just swap between steady shot and aimed shot, and rotate in kill shot when it's off cooldown? Nevermind making Stampede a talent, removing aspect of the Hawk, or letting BM keep what should be a MM signature shot (kill shot). Right now it seems like the MM signature is going to be "dull".
