haha the mount or a 60 days prepaid? : /
Yay, going on the second to longest period without any new content for subscribers, and they put out yet another store mount. Glad Blizz has their priorities straight. If content came out at the pace that paid mounts do...
I have no issues with unique mounts being sold in the store. The $30 is high for me, but not for everyone. No issue there.I am, however, a bit concerned that we are seeing very little new unique mounts that we can earn in game. Sure- the typical dragon mounts and some Raid ones- but man. I am running out of mounts to collect without opening my wallet. Which is something that makes me run from certain game titles.Keep in mind- I am a huge hat collector and very old school Team Fortress fan.
Same with the Swift Windsteed, I absolutely dislike how the Warforged Nightmare moves on the ground. The flying movements are cool, the special mount animation is cool, but the ground running is just awful. Too fast compared to the flying animation. It looks like a rocking horse with the speed of light. My thanks to Blizzard for the Nightmarish Hitching Post. Now I know, this mount I'll never ride/buy (^-^)/''
With all this talk about the new mount, has anyone seen the awesomeness they did with the new revamped dungeons?Vote 5stars to Blizz for those...(sorry for bad english...)
The mount looks awesome. And the idea with the arcanite reaper is great
We posted news in several waves as we discovered the mount in-game several hours before Blizzard made a post. First I posted a screenshot of the in-game store and said the mount was on sale for $30. Then a few minutes later I added pictures of me on the mount, the post in the mail, and linked to the hitching post as well. About an hour later, the video Olivia made was completed, and we added that as well as a screenshot of the new store page.I never said it was a two-seater mount or a ground mount, but I assume people thought it was a two-seater because of the store text--"you and your allies can ride." The store text also makes it seem like you can only ride the mount via the post, not a permanent one ("through the magic of a fantastical post.") This mount was temporarily available on the WOD alpha but we didn't get the hitching post as mailboxes were broken, so our Alpha coverage that mentioned the mount didn't cover that angle.I did try to explain how the mount/post worked as soon as I bought it since I found the in-game store text fluffy--I think after that was posted it became a lot clearer :) PragmaticSoul leaves a lot of good replies and posted very quickly before we had more information up.
Jeez I wish I had $30 to throw away for a clump of pixels...
Anybody seen riding this mount should get killed and camped for three hours for being a sucker.
$30? Pass. These things should be 10 bucks tops. Absolutely ridiculous.
Did Blizz add the dungeon journal entries for new RFD yet?
