$90 is way too much, $10 would be a good price
I think it will cost 1.000 gold each wing, it's a good price if you do all daily quests.
I completely agree on last two posts. With a price to high, it will backfire to Blizz from casual customers, as me – in protest will not pay any unreasonable amount (the principle, not the money is on the table :-) here…). And the freaks will pay any amount asked. But luckily, there are more normal people with RL, than freaks.Edit: added smiley.
Whoa, $90 for the whole adventure mode? Isn't that a bit too...much for the price of an adventure? I can use that price to get more than two video games! I agree with Teodo; I am a customer that relies on the gold given to me.
They will be trying to sell us different card back options next! though it would be pretty cool to be able to create your own cardback artwork.
i would say 1500-2000 gold considering how fast you can earn gold and it permanently unlock's + the new card's you can obtain.
-.- I genuinely can't believe that people think 1000 gold is a good idea, let alone 2000. 1000 gold would take a person 5 days to unlock, assuming they get the 100 gold quest every day, AND win 30 games in play mode. Realistically, the figure would be more like 20 days. 20 days to unlock a wing. Most people just don't have that amount of time on their hands.
Yes, the people who can play a lot of Hearthstone can save up gold. What about the people who can play 20 minutes a day, the people who play the game as a time killer. Naxxramas is stuck behind a paywall that requires you to (duh) pay money, or spend a lot of time saving gold. For the people who don't/can't play a lot of Hearthstone, they will be alienated and unable to play the adventures, just because Blizzard set up a ridiculous amount of gold as entry per wing.500 is, in my opinion, the most they can charge that I think is reasonable. Any more than that will screw over a lot of people, and even then it's a pretty high price.
I've said this before on the 'Naxxramas' post in the forums but I believe 500-750 gold is a decently healthy price (3-5 Arena Runs / 5-7 Packs) for each wing. That would equate to ~$7.50 - $10.00 per wing for $30 - $40 to unlock the whole adventure. Seeings you can buy relatively new games for this price and the amount of people who play HearthStone I think it is quite reasonable.
But that is my point, I play very casually. Get the q done each day and maybe play 1 or 2 more games and it's easy to save gold. Plenty of time til Naxx is released. If you don't use the gold for boosters or arena right now then you should have enough for when it comes out, simple.
My question is will casual players actually be able to complete Naxxramas with f2p cards or will you need a very healthy collection of expert and legendary cards.
From a game play stand point it makes sense that they'd make the real money option expensive in order to reduce the amount of people not "earning" the content via gold.From a business standpoint it seems silly as no one save for a very small few are actually going to be willing to pay such a price.
